stuey 0
Went to the show for the first time today, a good venue with some superb cars on show and plenty of people to admire them. I went with a shopping list of some MK4 look headlights, smoked indicators/fogs, new front splitter and perhaps some caliper paint and came back with... nothing!!I'm sure they can't take everything they have got with them, perhaps they sold out on Saturday despite the rubbish weather i don't know. I would have thought i would have got something, and i'm a bit gutted tbh. All i got was a card and "we can mail order it to you", but i wanted to see the gear and check it out myself before parting with the cash.A certain tyre/wheel dealer from the Hayes area seemed to be selling KEBABS, correct me if i'm wrong. Oh well, suppose i will have to ring around and order the bits now :-(
J5KE F 0
Yeah, i know where ur comin from fella.. i did manage to get lots of bits, but the overall traders stands seemed a tad bare.. with most of the same between stands
sparkz 0
You couldve bought my schrick manifold that i had for sale or one of my polished manifolds!!
gav_113 0
i thought GTi international was better to be honest. but there were alot of nice cars tho!!
Seademon 0
Wasnt as many traders as I thought there would be but I wasnt fussed as I didnt really want anything but they did all seem to sell the same stuff ie: Mk4 lights, Lexus lights etc - same old same old but it was a brilliant weekend all the same
craggsy 91
I really liked the BBS RS001s that were for sale....but out of my price range at £2k.But no other decent wheels there that took my fancy.....even on other cars
J5KE F 0
i must admit sparks had probably the best stand there!

binliner 0
i thought GTi international was better to be honest. but there were alot of nice cars tho!!If what you want is traders it probably is... E38 is about the cars and getting together for a beer
SankysVR6 1
Have to agree with binliner, E38 is more about having a chill out session with like minded people. And the odd beer thrown in for good measure.Just a shame i missed it this year.
purple highline monster 0
i found this last year, whatever show you go to most of whats on offer is "lexus lights" and cheap bolt on shite being offered at varied prices!!, i prefer shows where the cars are the main attraction with a bit of auto jumble thrown in tbh, a lot of the vw aftermarket stuff is pretty dull at the minute anyway and has been for a while imo, the best investment is always gonna be some suspension and rims!!, all the other bolt on stuff has been done to death! and some of it is awfull quality too! leave it for the chavs in saxos 8-) thats what i rekon!! Seademon 0
As above - I was happy to have a nose at what was for sale but didnt want anything. I was loving the cars that were everywhere and the beer tent/music. Brilliant show.I got stuck in traffic with some cars that had been to 'Trax' on the way home, I was sat next to a Rover 400 with hubcaps and a 4" exhaust...a different world! stuey 0
I ordered my lights and fogs etc yesterday, headlights turned up today from Venom and are on the car and the fogs/indicators are at the parcelforce depot waiting for me I wanted to go to GTI but my mate got married that weekend and i was best man so that was me out. Like i said, the show and the cars were great, just disappointed by the trade stuff.
vdubgirl 3
Certainly agree with ALL the above the show was good the cars were as per the norm pretty amazing there and there were not that many traders but to be fair to E38 Inters did have more traders but they all sell the same old tat.Found for the last year or so when I go to shows I look on the trade stands and it all chavvy rubbish and nothing of any taste really. I cant understand it really cause half well almost all the stuff on these trade stands you never see on any golf - Maybe they just all get all the rubbish from there shops and that and try and flog it all off at the shows . Certainly not the show organisers fault that the traders bring rubbish along lol
mike 6
i thought inters was way better for trade stands. i managed to pick up a couple of things from ed38 but wasnt as cheap as i had hoped. i kept gettin 'we sold out yesterday' gotta get there saturday next year
