  1. yep, the 3 straps are pretty tough aswell, i took a punt after seeing a few reviews and very pleased, their tools are also top notch.
  2. dunno, but its upto you what you buy, one off ebay no ones used or one from halfords that has been used by 2 people and given great reviews? Fleece lined is brilliant as long as they are watertight and multi layered. Never a drop of rain on mine and more importantly no scratches:)
  3. ditto on the halfords one, medium size and £50, very good and it does not scratch, fully machine polished my vr6 and its been coverd 4 times since and no swirl marks.
  4. cut springs.....wow, was the previous owner a monkey?:0
  5. eek, how much of a shite ride and tightly wound spring must that be. not to mention a forced shock.
  6. Looks suspiciously low on the side you havent lowered if that makes sense?
  7. its ok mate, it neutralises all the other diseases i probably have:)
  8. OD is 3" 76mm ID is 2.75" bmc inlet and outlet is 3.34" or 85mm so 85 to 76mm reducing connector you need or near as damn it
  9. could have used mine mate, firmly attatched to the bonney stay still 18 years on
  10. It made it worse as i dropped the machine polishing to sort it out for her aswell, so double hit...£25 out of pocket and lost 3 hours on the vr6!! Feels like ive had a good day, i want to kick her in the fangita!!
  11. I didn't expect any labour cash at all, I'd never charge family for anything but also didn't expect to pay £25 to fix someone else's car!! Bloody mother in laws, at least their daughters don't end up like them usually, oh wait!!
  12. Right, i need to vent so you guys are going to hear it Gets a call at 1pm today, the mother in laws crappy mk4 tdi has broken down and wont start, so being the caring son in law i down tools and go and help her. After 10 mins i diagnose a starter motor issue, as in its goosed. I tell her to ring her aa,rac or whatever to tow it back to mine and ill look at sorting it, well she doesnt have any of that cover so i use my green flag bearing in mind i pay for that. I then use my car to go and get a new starter from ecp, £65 plus a £24 surcharge when you return the old part, i pay for this as i ha
  13. i must be going to the wrong scrappies, only thing i end up with is either tetanus or herpes!!
  14. some sort of forum porn going on here guys?
  15. i can just see the above sat in front of his pc with nothing on but his pants tweaking his nipples now whilst on vr6oc.......wrong on a lot of levels
  16. another good call, but at least hell know his handbrake needs fixing if im dead?
  17. boxster front calipers wont fit though, they mount on the rear of the porsche disc, and the vr6 calipers mount on the front, the bleed nipples will be upside down. Real world opinion away from the calculations, i had boxster rear calipers on my leon cupra non r. 312mm discs, huge improvement over the standard cupra calipers in braking performance. Couple with braided brake hoses and decent pads, i had oem porsche textar pads in there. Calculate all you want on the areas etc, but i guarentee they are a big improvement, not to mention they look amazing. the leon cupra is 178bhp with a kerb
  18. erm in about a year when ive finished detailing mine! time consuming job but worthwhile i suppose.
  19. 4 pot calipers on the boxster rears, yes they will be more powerful plus the friction area of the 312mm discs is larger.
  20. et10 plus the spacers? or including?
  21. Fetch it here ill sort it for ya.....#detailinggeek
  22. looking decent mate, liking the tts, although she needs a clean....
  23. Pretty straightforward to use mate, this wiki explains alot, worth its weight in gold that software, im an idiot as i let mine go with my old leon cupra r. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
