Hello all yep once again im on the hunt for something, does anyone have or know where i could get a set of rear leather headrests for my vr, i currently have her off the road as im attempting to get her looking nice again after the previous owner never really looked after it, I've got myself a set of leather seats which all in all are in great condition apart from the rear headrests so if anyone can help out that would be great. cheers

Hello all, has anyone had any problems with venom motorsport? i ordered a set of rear lights for my Mrs' passat on the 14th of Sep and still havnt received them, I've e mailed them on several occasions and had no reply and when I've phoned them they tell me they are waiting for them to arrive into stock which is fair enough but surely it can't take this long to get more stock in from the supplier! anyway just thought id see if anyone else has had problems with them in the past. i mean I've had parts for my vr from them in the past and thought they were pretty good but god knows what's happenin

I was going to recon the original wheels but there in that much of a state with de-laquering and the last drivers desire with hitting kerbs that the cost of having them referbed was lets just say expensive so worked out cheaper buying new wheels, thanks for the good luck wishes on the rebuild im hoping it all goes well:-P

A sad day for the moto gp world, Simo was an excellent rider and was taken way before his time, as for the likes of stoner and pedrosa they can say what they like but at least Marco had no fear of the way to race a bike he will be sadly missed:-(

No worries Ian i didn't think they would be to everyone's taste but i like them on the car and to be honest they look better in person rather than in a picture

They're dotz alpha wheels mate, as for the strip down well as to what will be getting done depends on what i find when working on it , i know the floor is solid so no worries there but the bodywork needs a tidy up especially the back end so it will be getting a respray at some point, the horrible clue textile interior is coming out and being replaced with black leather, I've got a stainless exhaust system to go on also and the engine has a wee oil leak from the rocker cover gasket so after that's sorted ill need to clean the engine bay aswel, so im hoping it all goes well and i don't find to m

The problem is that were not allowed to discipline kids in the same way as some of us were, blame the beigists as the big yin would say everything is way to politically correct these days but a good slap in the lug never did me any harm :-P

hello all just thought id let people know about the service i received from rimstyle.com, well to say i was impressed is an understatement. i ordered a set of wheels from them only to get an e mail saying to contact them about my order. got in contact and was told that the wheels i wanted were basically a no go at this time and the manufacturer was not sure when they would be producing more, so the rp on the line said he would e mail me pics of similar wheels or other wheels that i may be interested in. had a look and found a set i liked and let the rep know, at which point he said that even

totally get where your coming from mate, mine runs out of mot at te end of this month so its going to have to come off the road for a while till i get it sorted and looking the way i want it, unfortunately the previous owner didnt realise what he had and didnt take the best care of the vr but i think thats one of the reasons i took it on well that and i really liked it to drive. but never mind with some grit, determination and a very understanding mrs it should all come good. so with any luck ill have some new pics of the vr up early next year, hope all goes well for you boys aswel, take it ea

will a golf vr6 pass the MOT with a de-cat pipe?
bethslad replied to paceo's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
Well in that case you shouldn't need a cat for the Mot:-) -
will a golf vr6 pass the MOT with a de-cat pipe?
bethslad replied to paceo's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
If your car is pre august 92 you will not be tested for a cat on your car if its after august 92 then you should need one for the Mot, but as stated above some post Aug 92s will pass depends on the Mot tester;-) -
Don't take this as gospel mate but i heard that the coil packs fae the galaxy v6 are virtually the same but like i said don't take that as read might want to investigate first
