There's a 2.9 lump about 10 minutes away from me but I think the head gasket is gone on that too so I'm debating weather to take the risk and hope that it's in better condition than mine or just try and get mine sorted. It's all about time and money at the minute. I'm gonna get the 2.9 anyway for my turbo build but like I say it's all about time and money before ultimate dubs.   15. It really suits them wheels mate. My UD prep started today too. But instead of putting all the nice stuff on it was a pulling the engline apart day to replace the head gasket just need to dejected head off to be skimmed now Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk

  21. Jusr after a bit of info. Im gonna buy a 2.9 vr6 engine which im assuming will be odb1 as the vast majority are but my golf is odb2. What do I need to do to make it odb2? What are the differences? Im planning on turbo'ing the 2.9 before I drop it in too Cheers for any info guys
  22. Im not sure her feet will touch the pedals in that lukey. She' be fine in the other one lol especially with the nice big blower and a couple of bottles of NOS to play with lol
  23. I run 8.5 with 205/40/17 onnthe rear and inonly ever rub if the car is full of camping gear and I hit a really harsh bump but im running fairly low. Like lukey said you should be fine
