    I understand what you are say too, I had a mk2 that had replacement panels, luckily mine was good, but a friends wasn't??? I do think it's down to the quality of the panel..as you say, some are crap. suppose the addage "you gets what you pay for" holds true......

    Can smell that mine was/is running rich, gonna get some electrical contact cleaner and give the wire a spray see if it cleans it up, if not, ANOTHER item to change!!!!!!

    GOOD find...listing wings (oval indicator) £22.10 each a side, would have to add vat i guess, still a good price...

    Got a price today from europarts. £63.46 for both wings, that INCLUDES vat. was £28 + vat per side i think. GSF don't do any body panels any more, checked there too

    No, stutter was on gentle throttle......rag it, it's fine, treat it like a lady and she complains??!!!!! As I said, I think it's a combination of problems for me to work my way through...Just bugging and spoilng what is an awesome car..

    Will need to be BLOODY good detailers to get rid of the scuffs I got and stone chips, Got a nasty one right on front edge of bonnet. loads of small scratches like they've been done from driving too close to hedges.......

    I was quoted between £1200-£1400 for a full respray, including removeing some rust from a rear arch. But I gotta change the wings, but the price did incl changing the wings and removing trim etc to make sure it was a proper job

    I went for a quote for a re-spray, and was told that they would need to take the sill covers off (due to having new wings) and that they always seem to wreck em as they get brittle, also when they take em off as they are crap traps, usually the sills are a little on the rusty side...my reply..." fine..."

    Hi all, Just wanted to know what would happen if I unplugged the MAF? Basically I'm chasing the missfire. What I've noticed is that when the car is warm, it misfires worse. Also, if I boot it, it misses, actually it stutters more than misses, picks up then is ok, but if I'm gentle on the throttle, I can go through the entire rev range with no issues??!!!!!
