I bought another VR in black, and decided that I was gonna attempt to clean it. So I went to Halfords and bought some Meguires polish, canuba wax and a clay detailing kit...... So Far I have clay barred the bonnet, both front wings and both front doors. My question is I've only used half of one of the clay bars so far, and it still seems to be going strong in that I can mould it a few times and it appears clean. So how far would a clay bar go, or how much should I have used by now??!! Oh and it's MUCH EASIER than I thought it would be using a clay bar, bonnet wings and doors are nice and smooo

Stupid question, where is the colour code on the VR, please don't say it's the barcode just inside the drivers door, as I can't read mine...... I have a Black 3 dr that I'm trying to match, the paint isn't metallic, so I'm guessing it's the LC04 or something like that??!!!! Any help appreciated

Yep. I used to do the same, Just remove the item form sale as no longer available.............So I'd be surprised if they did honour it, lose to much money, but some may be lucky purely down to numbers

I'll think you'll find that they don't have to honour it, and they will say there was a computer glitch and the discount code wasn't working correctly. There might be the odd one that will get through the system seeing the number of orders placed, so some of you may be lucky.

Also, I've only got about £1500 max, and a 4MO would cost more, well a decent one would, and I think for that sort of money, I could get a real tidy VR, maybe not a total minter, but one that doesn't require a respray!!!!

Not the 1 i saw mate, how come you've decided to stick with the 12v? Dunno.....Suppose it's cos I'm old fashioned. I love the look of the MK2, and like the look of the Mk3, I've never been a fan of the Mk4 as I don't like the S shaped panel behind the rear doors!!!!, but saying that I like the 3 doors If it's got skirts etc and especially like the R32...Plus I think I have an affection for my current VR and even though I'm looking to change it, I'll be sorry to sell it...If I had room, I wouldn't. Would have to withstand the wrath of her in doors as she thinks I already have too many vehicles
