cheers bungy.. but defo want carbon i need this thing to look as it will go "hard as f--k. why go sleeper when you cant hide the noise or the odd kid sticking out of the turbo inlet...lol
the back of the car is pretty all at the height anyway.i screwed down the front and just b4 the spare wheel hole,at the back to stop it from bouncing all over either use velcro or magnets,magnets were the better option just for noise sakes...
cheers mate, i saw this a while ago did not like the reversed scooby scoop.i saw 1 some where it had a load of slash cut vents left right and centre looked hard as f k ,dont need 1 just yet funds going on turbo,,
yer still mint,its been in the garage 4 years only drove about 1000miles. im after some carbon bits if u know where i can get a vented bonnet and boot? merry xmas did santa send u a turbod R36 motor..no nor me either
i used 4mm ply and spray glued some thin carpet to it,,i 2 hinges just b4 the spare wheel so i could still get to it,just put the hinges under the ply so u get a smooth finish and cut the ply from using the old carpet as a template...very easy and cheap...
thought id have a go at making an aluminium short runner..after 2 weeks of fabrication all that was needed was a weld to seal it.fitted perfect until i tried with the engine fitted i had made it too deep and was too close to the fan and bonnet.next time i will measure it when the engines in.....
