    nope mate, take it i can find these VAG kits off ebay? im rushing around now as ive got an operation in 10 days and still loads to do :-(

    thought id start a new thread, the car is still not idling right, obd1 golf vr6 1992. ive replaced with brand new items as it needed a service anyway, HT leads, coil lead, distributor, spark plugs, fuel filter. air filter + cleaned the MAF twice now and cleaned the idle control valve out! also sometimes when i go to pull off and dip the clutch it will idle at 400rpm and feels like its going to cut out. also sometimes it will idle very high at about 1600rpm? :-( car drives perfect and picks up speed perfect. :-)

    cool thats that sorted them, rubber mount feels like a rock so i was debating if it would squash down enough!

    here you go guys, see there is not enough thread or do i need to put the weight of the car on it when bolted to the hub so it compresses the rubber mount?? one thing does this 21mm nut that holds the rubber mount and bearing on, hold all of the spring on as well or is there another nut under this?

    just a quick one, when fitting the standard suspension on the front, there doesnt seem to be enough thread to stick the nut onto when you poke it through the turrett in the engine bay, or do you bolt it all up to the hub and gently let the car down so the suspension compresses and then it gives you enough thread to stick the nut onto in the turrett? :-)

    hi guys, still on the learning curve, is it an easy job to change both the front lower arms (wishbones) on the golf vr6 or is it a bastard job to do? done them on my fiesta rs turbo and its a piece of piss! also are mk3 VR6 arms just specific to this or will GTI arms do the job?

    basically went over a pothole and its pissing out oil, can it be refurbished by them? only done about 1000 miles or so? :-(

    no chance its plastic mate! there must be some sort of large cup type thing i can buy to fit over the dimples on the side of it??? cant find anything on ebay! :-(

    just changed everything to service my car but the oil filter housing plastic nut is chewed so i cant get it off, any other ways of getting of off? ive tried one of them straps that you tighten over it but it keeps slipping.

    right had a spare 10 minutes removed the dizzy to find the rotor arm, its not screwed on, but how do you get it off? doesnt seem to move :^)

    hi guys was just getting a quote for my golf vr6 and the guy asked me if the rotor arm was held on with a screw or not? does it matter what one i order or not? still on the learning curve with these cars so sorry if i sound stupid :-( regards :-) 1994 aaa engine if that helps!

    guess ill need 2 of them as the vr6 is 6 litres. one thing it says synthetic and not semi as said earlier?
