    Yea i will measure it up in work. As for the heat treatment it shouldnt need it as most of the tubing we supply is for medical use or for aircraft so it should be fine as most of it is annealed and put through a pickle shop and passivated but it just depends what material i come across. Either way i will let you know. We have all the machinery in work to do it all but as its always being used theres no way i will be able convince the maintenence crew to let me do my own personal work.

    Cool well i had best get a move on with these then. I have a plastic one being sent out to me so i can get it all measured up and start getting the ball rolling.

    Took them off the car to be refurbed and just got me confused as to what they are as i havent seen them before and not having anything stamped on the wheel is making the search harder lol. They have vw centre caps that also sit in the middle but suppose that could just be a universal fit?

    Yea thats the plan. Been wondering for a while if there was anything that i could make up using tubing so hopefully should work out.

    Yea hopefully. The plan is to get a load made up and sell them on here pretty cheap as it won't cost me much to make up and helps people out on here with a permanent fix to the plastic ones.

    Right after some information and hope someone can help. I work in a factory that produces stainless steel tubing and am thinking of making up some crack pipes. What im after is the dimensions of the crack pipe. does anyone have the dimensions if not i may have to buy one so i can measure it up. Cheers in advance for any replies.

    Any ideas what make these wheels are? Cant find a make on them.

    Had a read through the whole post and there is alot more bad ones on there. Turns out the lad wasnt thrown from the car but because he was small he was just squashed into a very tight space.

    Yea im expecting them not to fit at all but atleast ill have something to work with lol Question for you please Bungy, Do you know if the wings have to come off as i know most sills fit in behind the wings if im thinking correctly? Think its just going to be easier to cut the new sills down and weld them into the existing sills at the top where they are still good. Cheers.

    Just had some bad news about my car whilst in for m.o.t. Both sills have rotted out and need replacing so my question is where is the best place to get replacement sills? Cheers in advance.

    I know last year they done the 10 tickets get one free but they obviously changed it for this year.
