lol yeah it is mate jap stuff is 101 ron i think but most just used shell v power and it seems fine or at worst chuck some octain booster in with it.

also rember that these figures are on a sti not a normal wrx, the sti starts out (jdm) at 280 so the prodrive gains arn't so much as you think.

tbh no chance in a straight line but a car will allway be better through the bends as you got 4 bits of rubber not 2 lol lol only car that beat me and that was on a gsxr 750 was a maclaran f1 road car kicked my ass big time lol lol

hmm not sure how you would have faired against the r6 tbh mine used to show 170 and 0-60 is around 3 sec but again chuck in a few bends and you would do him in the bends my old r6's

tbh never had or driven a civic just not for me mate but as said you could well be a natural at the strip you never know unless you go again lol lol

well the prodrive is just a uprated ecu and brakes, suspenion set up normaly which takes them to around 260-280.unless it was a jdm car and he got them to work on it so then yes it well maybe 340. you may well find also that you are very good on a strip and he was crap you just never know mate. haveing had 4 scoobs i'm not saying that they are the best car but a long shot as like all cars they have lots of faults but strip work and road use are two totaly diffrent driveing styles.

prodrive scoob an't 340 unless he had done other work. and imho in 1/4 mile he was pulling away from you quite quickly but as you say not as much as you would think, now throw in a damp wet road and a few bends and have a go lol lol. also fooked if i would be useing a road scoob on the strip as 5 good hard lanches and bye bye clutch unless you got good uprated set up, not knocking the vr's as i do think the are a very nice engine and one of the best motors for long distance motering but for "fun" much rather have a jap turbo car.

them clios are quick little buggers lol i got a pug gti 180 atm and i would put that against the old 4mo but the clio has got the edge on the pug.

standerd uk scoob is only 215 bhp but will launch better and go through the bends at silly speeds compaired to a vr fuel about the same, vr may be a little better . now sti scoob as you an't even gonna see it well maybe the rear lights for a few seconds. you also gotta think that with a exhuste and boost controler you can get 300- 320 very easy from the scoob. uk scoob group 17 ins (in the old groups) not sure on the vr but i know the 4mo is the same.
