I have one but how many pins does your faulty one have?.....there are so many different ones The one I have, I bought a couple of weeks ago from a member on here thinking it would fit as it has the same part number but the pins are set out differently. If the one I have is any good to you (pics below) I would like what I paid for it £17.50 incl P&P
  4. I'm not sure but can't see why not. I only live about 7 miles away so collected some while passing.
  5. I haven't had them fitted yet, they are still sat here sealed. I was planning on getting the lot, chains, rings etc and have it all done in one go along side turbo etc.

The info and part number on the box is: PL 77822600 Big end Bearing set STD WJ05 Parts are manufactured by Kolbenschmidt The bearings were a stocked item which saved a bit of time. Hope this helps

  9. Only noticed 2 small 30amp fuses, oval plug goes into the bottom of it. Big as in size of a cig packet? Cheers
  10. What is it, I think it is for the rad fan. It got extremely hot yesterday and has started to melt the plug underneath it. The fan was constantly on so maybe that had something to do with the heat problem? Is this unit solely for the fan? What is it called if I need to buy another? Cheers
  11. Had it running for the 1st time in its new body yesterday. Now don't laugh, it's still in standard form FOR NOW!! Only thing that isn't working is3 the MFA button?? Not figured out why yet, all looks fine??? If anyone may know what could be wrong let me know. Cheers

  13. I am removing the air con system on my VR as its in my Cab now so its not really needed. My Question, is it as simple as just buying the belt from a NON air con VR to replace mine? Part number also if anyone knows it?

  18. Never thought to look before. Its pretty cool. Could spend too much time on it. I didn't think they would have been down my street. I must have been home as my van was parked up. I never noticed the Google van. It must have been taken last Summer as the VX220 went in November. Got the old cars and van but not the golf unfortunately:-(
