The ST isn't exciting enough to be a weekend only toy. The R32 is a great all rounder but unless F/I won't set the world on fire. Go for the Monaro while you can and knowing you you'll sell in in 4 or 5 months and it will be another one ticked off your list.

Is it definately only an issue when cold or is it happening now when it just happens to be colder?

Depends on your driving style. The ST as standard doesn't feel quick. A re-map up to about 260-275 livens them up a bit. Get the Monaro as in a few years time there will be no V8's and at least you'll be able to look back with fond memories.

The problem with Haldex and all the 4wd rollers is you are running 2wd until the Haldex kicks in and then you have power transfer. If it is permanent 4wd it isn't a problem.

I got Vibra Technics mounts through the Premium member discount and saved about £50. Enough for 5 years membership. I got competition ones though and they are quite harsh.

I will be collecting payment in full from all of those wanting to run in the New Year. It is best to do it this way to guarantee the day is correctly funded and not cancelled at the last minute. If anyone would like to budget for it now and make payment they can let me know via this thread to keep an open record and allow me to update the 1st page. I understand that before or after Christmas is not a good time to be asking for money but this really will be worth it.
