  1. Its easy enough mate just a few screws to remove the clocks. But be careful removing the needles. to get at the dials

  3. You should have asked on here mate am sure someone would have one. Or searched the part numbers which are OBD1=021 109 507 A , OBD2=021 109 507 B For the bolt.
  4. Hi guys i need a new set of clocks but can not find ones with my part number on my part no 1h0 919 930 g. But i have seen some clocks with 1h0 919 930a The question is will these work or will i need to replace with the right part number. Cheers
  5. Just done mines no probs, took fuel pump fuse out started the car. Just to clear the pressure then removeed pipes from fuel filter with a flat head screw and so gentle pulling. Then undo the housing remove filter then pop the new one in. Have a drip tray ready for some that comes out of the filter.
  6. I would say yes, may restrict the flow of petrol
  7. Disconnecting the battery will reset the ecu. No need to vag com it because the ecu should re-learn it self.
  8. Does anyone know which boss kit i can get for my 97 vr. I bought one for a mk3 golf but my shaft was bigger is it didnt fit. I was wondering would it be the same as a mk4 golf. Am thinking change over period or something
  9. Depends on how it affects the light some chips you will some you wont. Yeah mate they are google the part numbers and it will bring up the places that stock the parts
  10. You may have to slim that exhaust down to go over the rear axle mines 2.5" straight thro and bangs on the floor because its lowered.
  11. At that price i would throw a bit more money in and get a recon with the chains done. If you plan on keeping the car then it should last you another 130.000 if you service it reg

  14. If your fans are working and the engine is not over heating i would forget it but thats just me. My first vr only ever work on top speed it would get to 90 then what would seem like a jet flying past as the air blasts from under the car. It never gave me any probs

  16. I could not get a pic of the bleed nipple, but you should be able to find on the crack pipe. While you under the car with a good lamp.
  17. Thats the crack pipe running along the front of the engine
  18. Jack the car up mate at the front slide under and you should see the crack pipe it runs along the front of the engine to the thermostat hosuing which has a few water pipes coming off it.But i will take a pic for you just in case

  20. Just took my drivers side back wheel off to give it a good clean, but while placing the jack underneath i noticed a small amount of liquid on a canister type thing under the car. Which i then found out it was petrol. Does anyone no what the canister is my fuel lines go into it and out. Pic to follow
  21. If your running more torque in the engine the stiff mounts helps stop the strain on other parts like upgraded manifolds. Am sure someone will be able to give you the full in's and out's of having upgraded engine mounts
