They are ideal if your running an aluminium intake manifold, wouldn't say you would need one on a stock motor, saying that I've just ordered one for my NA motor lol, but only cause my sister is on holiday in the US, HANDLUGGAGE lol

Leave it at a sensible 8 psi and it will be fine, turn it up and they break, but for a simple 280-300 hp for 600ish is good value, as said you can replace bits as you go.
