  1. I have to agree with Pete on this! £80 + each plus delivery! i will look into some non-OEM stuff and post some prices. s having not seen my car for 6 weeks, Pete can you confirm this could be a likely substitute? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Transporter-sliding-side-door-seal-x-6mtrs-/231596939407?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

  5. i think you will find that Jonny is the Ebay seller and he has 100% feedback, i havent got one of his but i do have a version and its good, the OEM plastic ones just dont like being messed with and like snapping round the oil cooler connection. s

  9. Hi All, looking at changing to Haldex after i have destroyed the gearbox on the Synchro Rado, what about clutch? i have a 02M DRP box to go in and have been looking about for clutches and flywheels and there are a lot of differing opinions the car is currently running 336 and i would be looking to Max out at 45-500hp. answers on a postcard to the usual address. TFL steve
  10. Hi All, apologies if this has been asked before. as title suggests is there any difference in a the towers on a 5\6 speed, im hoping not and its just the gearknob needs changing. TFL steve
  11. Hi, new issue! Changed crack pipe and fixed throttle body. To do this the fan had to be moved, it's an aftermarket slim one and only has 2 wires I may have pinched something as now when it's warm and I turn the ignition off the 20 amp fuse just pops. Before I take the whole front off again any suggestion? It's not the after run pump as I have disconnected it and it runs when the engine is on. I have tried to bridge from the rad plug (again only 2 wire) and that just blows the fuse as well. TFL Steve
  12. Do you have the radiator fan module? S
  13. Hi, whole thing I believe. BBA reman just did the VR6 Corrado ABS on wheeler dealers this/last week. S https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WUOFMFKArl0
  14. Hi, modded but still using a "VW" tps. I ordered a cheaply from ebay and will see if it works. I have been looking at a Colbert generic TPS has anyone had any dealings with these? TFL Steve
  15. Hi all, next in the corrado saga! The boost solenoid is back clicking and it looks like an electronics issue as the ecu shows a TPS error and its shows 16% open all the time don't know if it's connected? Any way the TPS that's on their is special (surprise, surprise!) part number 037907385M, it has 2 connectors both 3 pin one a bit bigger, my current connection uses the smaller one, this thing is best part of £100 to replace! So I looked at the next one 037907385N and it looks like the same but single smaller connection, same sort of years etc If it fits the throttle body would it work? Maybe
  16. besters kit from here cannot be beaten on price or quality!
  17. neck and neck till I went for 3rd and f*cked the car, he did look surprised when he looked and I was still next to him! At least he didn't laugh when I pulled up next to him at the next set of lights with the engine banging off the limiter until I turned the ignition off (Sometimes with a VRT, silence is golden!) Good news is its back together and running! Advice on fitting stainless crack pipe is give it a couple of knocks with a hammer, and it is possible to fit without taking the entire thermostat housing off (just the part that it goes into on the stat housing as the complete housing is m
  18. Sorted, I think? After buying a replacement N75 (not yet delivered) I was chatting to a fellow petrol head at work (Ford man, but can't hold that against him) he suggested an ECU reset as solenoid is ECU controlled and should only energise when told by it. Sound logic and it worked! The ECU must have got its knickers in a twist when I totally f*cked the throttle body! Lessons learnt 1) like the quacks, if you assume it's bad news get a 2nd opinion 2) don't assume and save spending £100+ on unneeded parts 3) and I should know this being in IT, turn it off and on again! Anyone need a genuine VW
