on both my mk2's i had g60 steels and i flippin' loved em! my fav wheels. love that clean, classic OEM look. would love em on my vr, but obviously there 4 stud, and would like summit bit bigger than my std 15'' alloys. thats where beetle steels come in! 16'', 5 stud. but ive never seen any on a mk3.....has anyone got any pics/links? pref a mulberry 5 door lol! was looking at these but they cost a bit much for me..... jus want to see them on a mk3! cant picture it.....

this is a weird one, all work fine except the near side rear window (5 door)......start the car and it will go down, if ur quick it might go back up but after a while dont work? turn engine off and imediatly start it and it works?! and so on......... can anyone shed any light on that ta?

yea thats wot im thinking, its already noisey....gonna do it myself but im not a mechanic...so was unsure if the fact its got loose before serviced it might be stretched-weakened-damaged or wotever...should do it properly

i didnt pay 1200 for the car!!!! think im gonna wait a bit longer....save up...get new chain and guides, build a new gearbox and book a few days off work, do it all in one go.

.....having a great time on a windy country road, clear blue skies, windows down, sun glasses on and that glorious sound track that is the vr6? i do! and was till i entered a village which was a 30mph so i respected it and slowed down.....the trees blocking the light onto the road and my sun glasses were very dark, then WHACK! to dark to see it, drove straight over a speed hump (not the long ones, the ones in the middle u drive over) smacking the sump at 30mph, stomach dropped, and my mrs went mad 'told u its stupid being low!' pulled over, had check but no leaks.....but ur heart stops do

my timing chain is rattling......can i jus do the guides as ive been told (not by expert :S ) that the chain has no service date........ i aint got much cash but my baby needs lookin after!! cheers...

is it noisey on drive at all? dont sound like the actual box that to me - unless u popped the hub somehow or ur selecter fork hopped out.....

mean crank seal? please no lol! had it on ramp at work, had a poke about but the bays so full cant c owt....more than likely r/cover so gonna do that and c. got sum 10/40 semi oil i 'borrowed' from work so alls gd. never seen ur car about, sure id notice that!!!
