Sounds like a plan, will need a vento and some style first though.... but as you say 'it's on!' Always been one for a challenge.
Yep cool pic of AOG, forgot it was here until I posted.
BTW, Is Lukey the forum tough guy?
The one with the cream leather is on eBay now you best get on it!
Cool pic from back in the Harlem autos days lol
And no i guess he thought you was trolling I am the forum tough guy, naturally.

Looking forward to seeing it with a fresh coat, I'm sure it will help get some well earned satisfaction from her as you will be able to see the project coming along noticeably. Are you sticking with green?

Yeah it's staying dragon green but probably a slightly different mix than the norm to make it stand out abit

Just read this build, I feel for you man, but carry on with it, I know they can feel like a never ending fix but you will get there, your doing everything properly so you will get there. I know exactly how you feel with wanting to crack on with the modding though, when ever I have a spare bit of cash to treat the car something boring pops up. You will get there, you've made great progress already and would be a shame to put all the effort in not to see it through... Keep at it!!

I will keep at it I just need an auto electrician out to sort the fuse box problem then it can go for paint!
-
My undercover investigation into what stupid mods you have planned for this heap has proved unsuccessful so I have decided to break cover. My two pence...Sell the bling wheels and cancel the 'disco dancefloor' glitter paint job pronto!
Luv Brad
We will meet up and throw down vento vs vento in style stakes after paint, it's on!
P.s nice avatar pic of AOG during the loz era!
Prick?
Yes.

Just caught up with with your recent love affair with the matrix. Any interior job is a nightmare at the best of times, never mind fixing other peoples bodges, but take it from a man with a 20 year old Corrado, eventually you get to the peak and things get easier.
Keep on with it mate, those wheels look superb

I'm hoping I'm getting close to full de bodge lol
Unfortunately during the matrix change I think the fuse box has taken a hit or something rendering it broken so now I need to look into that.

Strange how one side pokes more than other. Are they both the same offset and the previous owner didn't just wreck one wheel and replace it with an ebay cheapie?
They look really smart imo though. The black goes well against the green, and that gold
No the wheel is legit I think it's due to alignment
Yea I think they suit the dark green vento too
I like the colour but I think they look to big in pics, looks better in the flesh

I have read many threads about mk3 electric window failures but none of them explain what mine is doing.
None of the 4 of my windows work regardless of what switch you use, they make a noise but do not budge at all.
The same goes for trying it with holding the key on unlock they make a noise but do not move!
I drove the car yesterday and smelt abit if a burning smell... I fear something may have happened to the fuse box while wrestling the knee bar about during a heater matrix change last week.
Any ideas?
Cheers

I got my bolts back which have been machined for the adapters so I fitted the wheels, I don't really like them now they are on the car lol
I put the drivers seat in and took it for a drive and it smells of burning and none of the windows work, the motors make a sound but the windows don't move at all which is strange.
Pics
At the front one side seems to poke more than the other

those wheels are brill! Glad you got them sorted though. Sits a nice hight as well on them.
Good to hear that the dash is going back in (slowly)
Keep it up though man. I seem to have stopped on mine..haha
Yeah I'm pretty pleased with them, I will run lower than that hopefully that's just how it came off the jack so not even settled.
I have sent all my switches/clocks etc to be modified so I can't really finish the dash till they are back, in reality it's cold out and I can't be bothered lol
Your thread has turned into a workshop manual/brakes discussion lol

Look like fk's pal

I think you may be right! The cheapest ones by the look of it lol
After 15 odd years of playing with my own cars and being in the motor trade I've found out that nothing ever runs smoothly when working on your own car!! Good luck with getting the wheels on soon, they look great!
I have never had a car that's been this much of a pain before everything I touch something happens or there's an issue caused by previous retard owners.
I'm hoping the wheels will be on at the weekend and dare I say it I will be driving it about, fingers crossed

My Xbox one games were all £49 from game

I was in 2 minds about getting Xbox one or ps4 but forza has blown it for me with its push to get you spend real money on car !
Sony will be taking my money this time !

Forza has always had download content that you pay for same as most games these days it's your choice if you spend or not I'm level 80 and haven't spent a thing!

Mine have been like this on both my VR's I thought it was normal lol

Last one I played was Forza 3 on my 360 and I found it far better than any GT game. The scope of what you could do with the cars was fantastic. Oh... And they spund like cars and not lawn mowers
It's also a lot more fun to play if you have everything turned off assists wise, I find in comparison even when fully modded the cars seem boring and unresponsive to drive on GT.
-
I used to be a big gran turismo player but after playing forza 1 I bought an Xbox and never looked back
-
Mark the next gen stuff are still in early days. Programmers still don't know its true potential. Just look at xbox 360 games now compared 7 yrs ago
This is a very good point I never thought of it that way
-
I think you need leather recaros to compliment the door cards
-
I have got
Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k
NES
Original Gameboy
SNES
PS2
PSP
Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbox One
I did have a PS1 and Wii but sold them, I love retro gaming but the old consoles don't work great on new tv's so when it comes out I will be getting one of these

9 in one and you can use original controllers even cross format and map buttons, you can save progress and it's HDMI!

Is the bar shoved all the way to the screen? they are sliding bolts IIRC.
That's a good point I took the bar off aswell I will check that thanks
-
I might have one, will see if I can find it. It's a bit dark now so may not be until tomorrow or Tuesday
I need 11
-
I just went to fit my wheels when I realised on only have 9 bolts to bolt the adapter to the car.
Does anybody know where I can get the little shallow head bolts for H&R 20mm adapters from? I can't find anything online.
Cheers

Not much going in with this currently as I'm waiting for an auto electrician to sort the fuse box before it goes for paint, I did get this pic off the painter today of my badgeless early grill in progress though
