  8. well there is a thread somewhere, ill dig it out for you... its on another forum you need to log into but its worth it, its a guy who touched up a keyline with a touch up pen, sands it flat with 2000 grit paper then buffs it up with a polisher... its amazing!!!
  9. i wouldnt use t cut unless you have too... its horrible stuff.... do you have a machine polisher?
  10. ahh cool, thanks ollie... and err... well.... kinda had a video camera on so thought id stop, let some traffic go by and have a little burn as its a nice country road... that'll teach me... (video came out good though.... )
  11. I heard apparently they supply quite a good one... ill have to look into it... need a better one than this though, only just got me through a year!!
  12. Just thought id stick a pic or two up here of this weekends adventure into a layby.... I have an ebay splitter that i have always said is good, until i hit a high kerb and cracked it, then this weekend i ventured into a layby that i now realise i really shouldn't have as there was no 'safe' way out and here is the result.... My temporary repair.... Previous crack... I am now thinking maybe they are brittle... may invest in a gsf one next.... :S
  13. Have you checked to see if the pistons are covered in cack? only that when you change breaks and push the pistons in to get the new pads in it can sometimes drag out some stuff with it and make it stick so when you release the brake the piston isnt slipping back into the caliper nicely... try spraying a load of brake cleaner or WD40 on it, let that settle and see if it will free up the piston.... just an idea as i know ive had that trouble on my race bike before... little bit of lube n some pushin n pulling soon made it free again... :)
  14. na, with my council you just go to the highways on bit their site and there is a section for reporting potholes, you then enter the road name (get off google maps if unsure of exact name) then it says describe exact location so use landmarks to describe how they can find it... then it says decsribe the damage, so i usually put 'massive crater opened in the road in line of traffic needs attention' that should be enough, then if you hit it when not concentrating in a few weeks and they havent sorted it they will have to pay... worth doing just in case they get worse...
  15. also would just like to add to this if you notice any pot holes on your routes then please report them, i have reported 4 today, they will only get worse and if your car gets damaged and the pothole has been reported they have to pay out... i got caught out by an unreported pothole last year and it cost me 500 that i didnt have... so its worth doing... dont get caught out!! it only takes 5 mins online on your local councils website.
  16. Very true and very sound advice... glad you got it sorted...
  17. That dude on the table is an amputee.... (apparently)
  18. Oh I do respect any man that is braver than me..... Cheeky f**kers!! LOL Luckily i love bein a little tiny one... and its ok... i can get on most i thnk... may be the odd one i cant!! lol
  19. Yes! Yes! Yes! Very excited little Nat here!! Do it Ben!!! :)
  20. Yeah, i was laying in bed thinkin about this for a while last night and it is easily done.... all that needs doing is a standard grille to have 2 sections cut out of it, swapped over then rejoined.... simple when you think of it, but sure its quite fiddley... looks great though, if it hadnt been done and splashed over every mag already i would def do it.. lol
  21. Oh dear!! Thats a bad scene!! Glad it was only a ford... lets just hope it was a random one...
