    Tonyvrsc is probably your best bet... he's about 10mins from junction 2 on the m25...

    more than likely a sensor, but id get on it on vag com if i was you, that way it will tell you which sensor it is that needs replacing or it will show up another fault... saves time and money....

    a vr is never cheap to buy, run and insure... you gotta think about tax at £105 6monthly.... insurance aint ever gonna be that cheap as you're fairly young arent you with a chequered history if i remember correctly.... even with a low milage policy you'll be payin a fair whack.... also you've got fuel to think of and also running issues as over time they do drain ya money even when not used often..... but yeah, some insurers will do limited milage, but normally on a classic car.... and for over 25s... how old are you?

    Oh, could be your lambda, if none of them fix it, it may be worth stickin it on vag com seeing what it throws up.

    try uplugging your maf and see how it runs without it, it maybe that just needs a clean, if not check your plugs and leads and also check your coilpack for cracks etc... should be one of those, if not let us know
