    i think you might need the barrel as well as the key tho

    reader coil is a form of immobiliser if it dosent reognise your key it immobilises but the car starts then stops. Just my opinion dont know about ECU maybe its linked somehow not needed to have mine VAG-COMMED yet we must have been typing at the same time Ben lol

    lol what a normal water pump runs of a belt and the auxiliary one is electric surely not lol I guess he's finally found the correct forum to be on wouldnt fancy being on the raddo one

    2 wires go to the tweeter then they are piggy backed same as the front the wires enter the door and go straight to the tweeter then the other wires come from the tweeter and go to the woofer /larger speaker

    Hi and welcome yes wheels would look good and hubs and probably the rest of the car nice shiny coilovers have you any pics of the car LOL TT wheels are a bit common nowadays if your on about the wide 5 spoke ones normally polished

    Does your alarm switch on and off OK have you checked fuses did you reattach the Earth point for the Engine/gearbox many different things to try

    i had the problem but eventually mine would start turned out to be the reader coil it goes around the ignition key hole just behind the cowling bought mine from ebay from FIRCOF1 about £11 i think

    No it just measures the cylinder compression so nothing outside that makes any difference . i cant remember how many times you need to turn it over to get a proper reading its been a while

    No the inlet mani does not need to be on and the engine needs to not run so disconnect something to stop it starting ie: coilpack not that it would run with the spark plugs out but if you only had one out it might still start

    maybe you could try spraying the WD40 on whist using the blow torch lol

    There was one for sale when i was looking for one but the speedo is in kilometers not miles so i decided against it

    Has anyone tried?? then tried to decifer what the light is trying to tell you whilst you are blinking and missing flashes. What a silly idea. i mean VAG-COMS are so expensive i would much rather stick paper clips in my ears. Maybe american cars are that simple though LMFAO
