    I couldnt agree with you more Don the MK2 was the best looking golf they launched the prototype with the mk1 and by the time the mk2 was released they had got it right and finished it. Then came the mk3 with its added weight and airags and the gti was just crap so they dropped the 6 pot in it and made it the GTI for the big boys but still they need a tweak to make them pretty. Then cam the mk4 when we are playing with a serious 6 pot and 4 motion there is something extremely sexy about this car and the mk5 couldn't live upto that.     MK4 all day long I know this is a VR6 (MK3 Forum) but all the best looking golfs are even:- MK2 MK4 and of course the sexy latest shape, But the best engine was put in the mk3

    I pissed off a mk5 R32 off once, but he just wasnt half the driver. Then my mate raced me in his and things were different he didnt kill me completely but he had at least 60 more horses than me and it showed the main issue is the 4motion.

    Don't need any research I will run on the views of the club as always some fellas on here with pretty vast knowledge of this 6 pot engine. I am glad it has worked for you chap I have just purchased things in the past on the hope chips for my mk2 8v from Greece and sh*te like that. I just believe you get what you pay for now,

    Who you talkin to........I accelerate hard......especially now I've got an induction kit on....can't get enough of that intake ROAR........ you need to see my fuel consumption now.....averaging 24 mpg................... 24 as high as that you dont drive hard at all then im on 18 at the mo lol I was thrashing my V8 Jag and she was returning 4mpg I have had the VR down to 9 on the Poole Quay straight oh I love that road

    It prob works for you mate but there is a lot of little mods on the market that boast massive power gains and they all turn out to be useless or damaging to the engine. Thats all Ben's saying and talks of 10bhp+ gains from a little device cost £25 when schrick cams and such mods costing hundreds are only adding around 15bhp I think (I am not 100% sure what these cams add). The electric blower with 20% power gains this only applies if your engine is a 3hp lawn mower then you will get 20% more lol Does anyone have any experience of them I think we need to organise a group buy lol I would lov

    2 bucket wash sonus Clay, AGR Polish, Poorboys Black Hole Glaze (Dark Cars) then finish with Poorboys Carnouba Wax:- Worked really well on the dragon green one. i have done the mullberry one did it in the workshop and rolled her outside for photos but it was raining gutted
