  1. Went from this:- To this:- I figured the head gasket was on its way out as she was using water and spluttering a bit at times, I put it under some stress when the thermostat stuck shut. But in fairness the gasket looked good however there seems to be some very very light scoring on canal 1 & 6 so not to impressed. Luckily I have another engine on the shelf and I will split that and check the bottom end.

  8. I have never seen them but I think the point is if you curb it mate its a lot cheaper to replace a trim than another alloy.
  9. I removed these from a mk6 Golf today and was so impressed. I though we had a nice clean set of reims until I couldn't get the plastic nut covers off. I am that impressed I had to show you. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330535335455&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_629wt_905

  17. I signed up for google adsense which means I let them advertise on 3 websites I run. With that I get a cheque for £60 every 5 weeks. But I dont need to do anything. You can do this to your blogs, facebook and various other websites. The guy I sold my Alfa to raved he had about 40 websites doing the same thing said he earned around £120 a week doing nothing and still designing more websites. He was harping on about credit card adverts on the site had a good pay per click!

  20. On the A3 the whole Door pillar glass and reg comes away from the door its a massive unit. Its a pitty your so far away cos you could have the pair with motors and everything for £40 providing I haven't turfed them lol
  21. If its the reg you will get something crunch of severed wire or something. If your getting nothing then its the motor or switch!
  22. I won an Audi a3 at the auction by accident once I have 2 regulators and motors left. I would prefer collection though as they are as big as the door in the frame. I could strip the reg out I suppose. I will upload pics if needed mate. Dave
