Dave_ciw replied to VR6CABBS's topic in Meets & Events
Come on Ladies a few more spots to fill! Lets make this a great turn out for the club! Bring the Kiddies and have a good day out with like minded enthusiasts! Hopefully this weather is here to stay, so come on those of you who haven't already! Get those names down and represent your club! -
Finally got into the caravan and in true Bradley fashion the keys turn up as soon as I gain entry. Guess sitting for two years unmoved it required a little clean. Quick snow foam and rinse! That's as much as she's getting lol. Gonna leave it half rat look [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. Bringing a full on gas BBQ as well. So this is shaping up to be a hell of a weekend. [emoji481][emoji482][emoji898][emoji488][emoji490][emoji491][emoji894] Happy Days!

CLUB TRACK Day around October Gauging interest!
Dave_ciw replied to Dave_ciw's topic in Meets & Events
New thread is live chaps! -
Right after a bit of interest in this event I am going to start taking name and getting a list together. They won't budge on the price which is a £119 for the day. However if we get 10 cars they will give us our own pit garage free of charger! Date: 15/10/2016 Location: Snetterton 200 Circuit, Norwich, Norfolk, NR16 2JU This could be a good day for us, time to bring this club back to the level it once was! Wasn't that long ago this club organised its own trips to the Nurburgring! Lets get those days back and show your support...

Golf Mk3 VR6 on Air - Supercharger.
Dave_ciw replied to c00k's topic in Members Rides and Event Photos
Just read through again from the fitment of the charger.. I must of skipped a page originally all info on injectors is there lol Old Volvo 2.4 Injectors I think! Surely have six of those knocking around my yard. What made you go back to the 3bar fpr? Where you able to drive the car ok without the map? -
To be honest in the interest of safety I have to agree to some extent. I had seriously stretched rubber on my Mullberry Highline and it seriously lacked grip. My current one had slightly stretched which was better although I just replaced them with 4 full size yokies and it sticks like a bitch now! I think moderation and with the use of common sense a little stretch would be okay but sometimes people are just daft with it! I think really daft camber would be a riskier affair and in my opinion a lot shitter on the eyeballs! Each to their own though!

So after having the car back one day! I was doing a bit of bypass thrashing when the gear linkage came loose. After shifting from 4th to what I thought was 5th doing around 70 plus the car went into 1st gear! This absolutely minced the pressure plate [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]. So back on the ramp. Box out. This was the perfect opportunity to fit a lightened flywheel I had knocking about. Even had a guest to the workshop today. Carl fitting his eibachs! Had a Right laugh losing shit!!!! Check out slimming world comparison shots

Laughing at mate?

Well the girl is home tonight! Driving bang on pulling like a train and stopping like a bitch with those new anchors. A quick snow foam, 2 bucket wash and she's as pretty as ever. Not to get the rotary on the wings. With the work done on the engine they have a few scratches. Nothing I can't remove. Slowly but surely getting there. Thanks for stopping by.

Club Event: Tatton Park VW Show 2016 - 08/07/2016
Dave_ciw replied to VR6CABBS's topic in Meets & Events
Happy Days another representative. Don't ever think your cars not upto representing or ever think that someone else would be selected over you as their car is better. We ain't that sort of outfit! Won't be long in coming round this one.
