    I bought my front black badge from main dealer vw not long ago, and my rear badge black from ebay dealer in sweden.

    In my area vectra turbos marked and unmarked, 5 series bmw, galaxys, astra the usual lot. one thing to note the cop cars in my area i think marked and unmarked, have the numberplates that start with OU....... so watch out for them....u have been warned !

    Got some possible good news today, did alot of fiddling about with the car, got it on the vag com again and have narrowed it down to the 2 rear abs sensors, that need changing, once changed it should sort my abs problem for gud hopefully.

    Someone on here that has access ro the ETKA software could find out the correct abs pump part numbers for us please :-) Also what is the correct procedure for doing the diagnostic on the car, car has to be switched on or off battery diconnected etc???

    If it helps you mate my vr6 is a 1998 r reg highline, and has abs sensors on all four corners.

    Ok an update on my progress had my abs ecu refitted today fired up the car and guess what, the dam abs and handbrake light are still on, not happy to say the least, going to get it vag comed again.........;-(

    I got an update from Stuart at Star Soldering, my ecu has been repaired and it's on it's way back to me hopefully by Tuesday, and i have been told there was quiet a few "dry joints". So hopefully once reinstalled my abs light goes out. By the way sorry for hijacking your thread mate.

    Speak to dave on here he usually has lots of parts at good prices, my ecu has been sent off, just doing the waiting game now.

    I have made the decision to do the ecu job to my vr6. My mechanic is removing the abs ECU thursday night and is being sent of to Stuart @ star soldering, I will update peeps on the thread and let you all know how my one went and hopefully the abs light stays off for gud ! lol

    ETKA software - for car parts? Anyone got a copy of it - or someone selling copies of the ETKA car parts software?
