    Yeah I know knutsford, onli about 20 min drive from mine, ill get down as soon as a can and when your free hopefully isn't going to be an expensive part that's gone like the box !

    Yeah I remember seeing the photos, some seriously good photography there h and one hell of a camera if I remember rightly, how much did the fuel cost? I'm trying to get my mate to come in his 4x4 and bring a trailer just incase lol

    Well going to start planning now so trying to get an idea of what is involved and what I need to sort, if I decide to go to the ring with the oc then that wouldn't need much planning as I could just go off the thread for the ring

    I go to about half a dozen dub shows a year and always read about worthersee and MIVW etc that are overseas and they look fantastic! I was reading the badly dubbed section of this months performance vw and got inspired by it, The editor was saying instead of going to loads of uk shows, save up the money and take a trip overseas for a change, well that was it then i was straight on the sat nav to see how far worthersee was lol, 1,100 miles one way, fuel would cost about 500 quid one way if my calculations are right! I just want to know if anyone has made any overseas shows and what they are lik

    Some of you may know I recenty had to have my engine rebuilt due to the rings going, I spent a grand getting the vrt back on the road, now when I got it back I noticed the gearbox didn't seem right, at the gear stick side of things, everything seemed to be off centre ( this is hard to explain lol bear with me). For example putting it into first seems to be slightly out of line to the left etc etc, and its making the gears crunch..... Does anyone know what is causing this and how it can be rectified?? The box was perfectly fine when it went in for the work, never crunched or was hard to put int

    c2 have got one for 70 quid plus postage, ratio is 9:1 is this ok? And stupid question but what is the difference/best....8:1 or 9:1?

    Not too sure think its going to be the spacer, the all important part that lowers the compression. Ive spoken to strictly dubs but they said they have to get some in and it will be a 7 day wait so i havnt bought one yet as i need it asap. Any ideas of prices?

    First of all i must apologise for not posting for ages, i have been having a bad month lol. First i blew my engine at gti international, and then broke my computer so couldnt get on here to ask for some help and info... bad times, anyways..... My engine is currently being rebuilt and i need one of those metal gaskets that lower the compression for FI application. The garage has had it since inters and im getting fed up with not having my beast on the road :@ Can anybody tell me who can supply one of these for me and a guestimate of the costs Thanks in advance and hope everyone is ok and hope

    LOL! Nice build thread nat, you should deffo do some walk through thingies in the members area for thick people like me to save me some money by taking my car to the garage to get alot of things done
