    lol cheers roan, ill bare that in mind when the megs stuff runs out but i am happy with the finish. The microfibre seems to do the job fine and not got 20 quid to spend on one cloth. I am doing it all again either tomorrow or friday ready for santa pod if the whether is nice. Anybody know whats best for dull polished rocker covers and wheels? I have got autosol any tips on best way to apply?

Its filthy already! :@ cleaned it all saturday, sunday morning i went over it with a microfibre cloth (3pk for 80p at tesco...bargain!) and the cloth was black and filthy! from one flippin day. did the same this morning went over it and blackend another new cloth.     ive got a boost pipe from the intercooler to the turbo which was nice and shiny and now its gone rusty (btw this wasnt off binliner it was on the car already before people think i am complaining about his stuff lol) i wouldnt mind knowing if this can be polished up and maybe protected with something that wont stop it rusting. (sorry to tap into the thread, if anybody knows please pm me instead of recking this thread ta! )

    Yeah i cant see it being after dark, all it is is my gf keeps nagging to come to the shows but i keep making excuses but i have run out now lol so gotta bring her! she finishes work about 2ish so will be coming straight from there, 3 hour drive, itll be tight! mind you, have more minutes of daylight by then lol! ill just have an empty bottle incase i need a number 1 so i dont need stop at services lol

    Ive looked at the coil pack it looks fine, the colour of the smoke.... it looks like when oyu drive down a dusty road so its like greyish id say, i put my foot down last night had the car at low boost and it didnt play up with the cutting power :s but still kicking smoke out and still idle-ing like a bag of poo poo. one of my mates has a compression tester but i dont trust him with my cars due to past experiences, so going to have to pay a garage to do it

    cheers xyber av just been cleaning for 4 hours, used what i have got as i dnt plan to do it all until next week. Washed with zymol auto wash, rinsed, dried, stages 1 and 2 megs. Looks 10 times better now! Not a blemish in sight! Plan to do engine, wheels, trim and interior tomorrow. Am knackerd from doing what i have done today! Need a buffer deffo

    as the tittle says, next weekend i am going to spend all day cleaning my car because i washed it yesterday and its all blemished and dull even after washing. I just want some advice and tips really on what i need apart from what i have got below but i dont want to go daft and spend loads of money on products so the main things i have got are; zymol car shampoo (new and unused) megs 3 stage system (paint cleaner, car polish, car wax) never managed to do it all megs nxt tech wax (the one in the purple funny shaped spray bottle 4 microfibre cloths, 2 wash mits The car is very dull and got alot

    try falcon, they do good quality alarms and are cheap, you can get remote start for like 100 quid i think. they do pager systems, trackers etc but alot cheaper than clifford. You can basically get what clifford offer for cheaper. I personally have clifford fitted but have alot of hassle because nobody will touch them because they are a pain, i paid 40 quid for someone to adjust the proximity and check it over, it was in 20 mins and it was done! and now its still too sensative (the clifford that is) i cannot put my alarm on on the main road, car parks or any other busy place as it just goes off

    yeh i think that that is the best way innit, dave being dlea? and i bet you guys know alot about fi vr6's aswell so might be able to get down to the bottom of it. btw i was just wondering, my wastegaste/bleed valve is set to about 12 psi at the min i used to run it at 15-17 but turned it down abit, If i floor it in say 2nd so i am getting mostly grip then come off the revs abit to let the traction catch up if you know what i mean could this make the car buck with the wastegate being half open half closed?
