yeah thought about that price only got about the £1000 to tune it up with. any other ideas.

Hi well recently I decided that i was going to sell the vr6 as I use the audi tt all the time but i have decied to put a bit of cash into it over winter, so was looking for some advice on what to do next to it, Its a OBD2 engine it has bmc cda with cold air feed 2.5 exhaust system de-cat schimmel 263 camshafts ( getting fitted soon ) what would i be best to do next?? would a 6 branch manifold be worthwhile? whats the cheapest i could get a supercharger kit for? thanks

yeah mate dont think its officaly 185bhp but around that, my mate got his totaly standard od2 dyno'd and it was 192bhp

hi was just looking for a wee bit of info, my friend was out in his corrado vr6 the other day on a private stretch of road and he managed to rev-out 5th gear! what speed does the 5th gear on a corrado gear box allow you to do as i know speedo are way out. thanks

personaly i preffer 15's on the vr6 as i feel it pulls a lot better with them, 17's usualy make it feel a little more sluggish -
get a good filter and a de-cat, ur times will heavily improve mate

bog standard mk4 r32 does the 1/4 mile in 14.80 i can do 14.917 with a filter and exhaust, so i would hope for a easy 14.5 with cams

standard mk4 r32 vs camd vr6 common mate the vr is gona win mabey not off the lights but once it gets traction it would take the r32, there not that great as standard not really any faster than audi s3's

i get about 23mpg just normal drivin but it goes up to 28mpg when on the motorway a lot

HI only had my vr for a few months now and saturday there was the 1st time i had a chance of getting it to the 1/4 mile ( crail ) my cars a obd2 with bmc cda and full exhaust system w/decat. I had checked the crail website before i went and searched most of the vr times and found that most them ranged in between 16.5 - 15.5 so i was excpecting around the 15.5 mark but i managed to get a 14.9 so was pretty happy, it was also banzai day and managed to beat a civic sir and a subaru sti to get 1 up for the vag side hehe thanks

not to bad mate, my vr had been off the road for 9 months and when i went for a mot all it needed mas brack pads and brake pipes.
