Its amazin how many mk3s look ok but are seriuosly bad around the front inner sills mate, from experiance i would agree with ya to get em both sorted in one hit, and good luck with her.. -

Was just having the same thought, mine are H+R, got em offa Craig and no probs, deffo looks like cheapo bolts, thing is HOW MANY of these as this guy sold???? could definatly come back to bite his arse.. and the next poor sod might not get away as lucky as you did ..pause for thought mate..

Well all seems fine again , alittle rattly on start ,but not like yesterday??, as soon as she starts to warm up all is quiet, and runs like a dream.. Happy days...

Are there any significant tell tale signs that would indicate the chains need looking at,?? just that when i started her up earlier she seemed to be a tad rattly,but ran well . Never noticed it before will have a listen tomorrow to see if its the same,, Pleeeeeze not the chains just yet,,,^o)+o(
