  3. i do think this site is to golf orientated not alot of help with raddo's
  4. mine did this when one of the hoses had come off the isv
  5. i did that the pads aren't sticking its just after i have been for a drive with quite a bit of braking i get home and the discs are red hot and the pads smoke. I have greased the sliders. is there anyway the pads connect to the calliper cos they just seem to sit on the sliders i also think the corrado set up is different to the golf set up?
  6. yeah i done that but thinking of it i didn't grease the the bit where the pad sits would this make them stick
  7. what do you mean push pistons out? i pushed them back in
  8. i changed my front brake pads thursday now every time i come back from a drive my pads are smoking and the discs are red hot
  9. pretty sure you do need it plugged into the car also what version of windows are you using
  10. yeah thats right but i changed the one on the housing as precausion and it was the cheapest option but i also think the rad fan switch is faulty
  11. The top hose was hot and the bottom was cold apparently the thermostat is common for going on vr's
  12. on vag com it says something about excessive fault codes on ABS but it said that when we had snow Think i want an M5 now
  13. i was racing an M5 when it came to brake it seemed there was no ABS and the brakes smelt like they were burning could it be the ABS sensors are knackerd the light isn't on in the car but i think the bulb has gone cos it doesn't come on when you turn the ignition on
  14. Mine was doing the same ending up being thermostat
  15. just like to say i had mine changed today cost £100 including parts and labour
  16. right its fixed now the thermostat was stuck closed
  17. I'm not sure if they are coilpack symptons but the coil pack is held on by 4 allen key bolts its about 15 min job if that
  18. i haven't removed it but i have checked in the dark for arcing and the leads i will sort the exhaust first anyway and if it still happens then i will replace the coil pack i'm trying to put it off as i have no job at the mo so can't really afford a new one
  19. now the hesitation is only at low revs i'm wondering if maybe the hole in the manifold is messing up the lambda sensor
  20. yeah the guage goes up to the 110 mark then the fan kicks in on stage 3 and never seems to go off
  21. the 3 pins on the sensor or the fan plug a bloke at vw thinks the thermostat might be blocked as both hoses get hard and the top hose gets red hot while the bottom is cold
  22. yeah the sensor was from vw. On one of the connectors on the plug that goes on to the sensor on the rad has crusty green stuff on it was wondering if maybe that would stop the connection also none of these sensors came up on vag com
