in the process of doin a 3Ltr set up with 83mm pistons and have pulled a blank on head gasket .... can i still use a normal 2.8 or 2.9 metal layered one ??? or would i need a different one if so any ideas where to get one . cheers tony

red circled area is where the grommet/plate need to be removed from and master cylinder fitted ....

ill try and get u a pic up tomo mate as i had to do this on my cab ... but like Mr C2 said remove the rubber grommet from the bulk head and run the pipe up to the brake resivor ... ull need a mater cylinder pedal end, slave cylinder gear box end and pipe between the pair ..

buy a mk3 then mate :-p have u got power goin down to the starter motor on the small wire exciter wire when cranking ???

could try the low dust green stuff ones but u found they were crap on my 2.0 so hate to think wot they are like on a vr ... mite as well just stay standard pads if u dont drive that much ???

quaife is about £700 i think u can get an obx one from ebay usa for about £400 but then gota find a bolt kit ....

well i got the black headlamps, and badgles grille and just waitin for some spare cash to get my carbon bonnet it think it looks the nuts i know a mate who put a mat black bonnet on his mk4 and ti looked goooooood ..... so yeah do it

yeah had some laying around so used that but according to the company i got it from i need to use the 42 draft design pipe kit cos its got a restricotr in it !!! not to sure on that but brought one anyway lol
