try removing the slave cylinder (one the gearbox) spay it woth some silcone spay and see if goes then mate

could be a squeaky cylinder mate .... i personly wouldnt worrie about it unless it starts messing with the drive of the car ie difficult to get gears etc etc

700 is cheap mate most place`s wont touch them cos its a vr6 or if they will its over 1k to do them .... when u say u had out and stripped in 5 hours does that inc the bottom chain ???
