Was driving around town tonight with a passenger and when she came to get out she couldnt!! The central locking works fine so think the door handles have become disconnected somewhere (neither inside nor outside work :-( ) So now i'm stuck with a passenger door that wont open!! Any idea how to get it open?? Or get the doorcard off on a closed door? cheers in advance!

Top speed reached ever = 160mph in an Evo 6 T.M.E on that private stretch of the M6 between J42 and 41 Top speed in current car (Fiesta 1.25 Zetec...or is it?!) = 125mph. Witness being one of the most honourable traffic cops ever!! He let me off and i was only 19 at the time!!! Top speed in a VR6 = N/A for the time being as i dont own one. But good news everyone, this should end when i pick up this beauty on Saturday! Gutted for you fella. Interesting story though as i am about to buy my first VR6 on ebay and its going to be a blind buy :S The car does look really clean from the photos but this has got me think now! How much did you pay for her? surely he gave you some money back??

Well this is a long shot but thought it worth asking anyway! As you may or may not have seen on the mini post thing on the home page, i have finally found a VR6 that looks decent from the pics and sounds decent from the description. Unfortunately the car is in Epsom, Surrey and i live in Carlisle, over 4 and a half hours away! Due to work there is no way i'm going to get time to view the car. Plus, with it being my first Golf, let alone VR6, i'm not entirely sure what faults i'm looking for! Sooooo, this is a request for someone who lives near Epsom to possibly go and view the car, test drive

Yer i'm 21 (22 tomoz!) and got 3 points and Direct Line quoted me £1046 fully comp for a 97 VR6 Highline (which i still dont own yet, grrrrr :@ ). Which i considered fairly good!
