  1. I'm in, was a VP for an english electronics company and before that a divisional Sales & Marketing Director, so as I said know a little bit about marketing.....
  2. Fantastic picks, nice to see the W8 made it in! Was really good to meet you and the car was looking great.
  3. So to kick start the Passat I need some advice. Who's the best to go to for re-mapping? Any advice would be greatly recieved
  4. To be honest sure your right, its certainly noT a GTI-6 either way its best to stay with VW, nothing to the french cars..
  5. One of the blokes at work has got himself a Clio 182 which is quite nippy and apparantly better than the 206 GTI 180. To be honest they are all pretty good but as you say need to be caned and rattle like hell. The 205 is good, but on anything over 20 mins its a pig to drive, I only got it coz at the time I had a Rangey which was thirsty as hell. I wanted something to go the 2 miles into work everyday, got drunk one night and ended up buying the Mi-16 engine from the local scappy and me and the boys here put in over a couple of weeks when it was quiet. Bloody good fun though!
  6. For sure, plus they're really badly put together, very flimsy, if you stack it your going to know about it..
  7. Either way, still prefer my F plate 205, its got the Mi-16 conversion and pushing out the standard 167 bhp, trouble is its rubbish for traction unless its bone dry...
  8. No turbo's on either, not sure if they're the same engine though
  9. It'll be there, just keep those spanners away that engine is stayin put!
  10. haha yeah its fun, to be honest I'm up to 1500 jumps and it still scares the crap outa me!
