  1. I wouldnt panic. In the last pic thats your rocker cover gasket not head gasket. They dont last forever. Clean it up a bit, and have another look, but if thats where its coming from your looking at an afternoons work and about £30 Tom.
  2. I had a PD 150 TDI bora, swapped it in decemebr for a mk5 gt tdi 140. Put all the toys on it, climate, cd changer, pearl mettallic paint, 17" 5 spokes, gti handling pack, winter pack, electric pack etcetcetcetce. Its not bad but the bora was better. Still its cheap enough in tax - 60 odd quid a month, so cant complain.
  3. Nope. back now. Pants - will send email in few mins. Tom.
  4. Thanks for the interest. We are currently working on a kit, but finding a combination of parts that will suit everybody is taking some time. The first kit is being trialed on the ibiza. Once were happy with that we will be able to offer the whole lot. We would be able to supply a base map for the ecu, but it would ideally need tweaking to give optimum results. Tom.

  8. oo, richievr - that looks mint!
  9. I painted mine - easy enough. Use enamel paint. sets the car off nicley. Its not 100% perfect if you look up close, but it was done in about 10 mins and looks fine. got a pic somewhere but cant find it. If i did it again i'd take a little more time and mask off the rest of it. If you spill it wipe it immediatly with absorbant cloth to suck it out the grain. You dont need to take the cover off, but it you prefer to then its dead easy to get off.
  10. We have done some research into this. VR6 turbo is a very popular conversion in the US, but made alot harder over here by the LHD problem. We bought both an ATP manifold and Kinetic (both are only LHD fitment), and tried with a couple of turbos. They both foul the brake servo. We machined the manifolds down, tried getting an angle on the flange but could not get a fit we were happy with. We can now offer a proper cast RHD fitment manifold. This has a T3 flange and flange for an external wastegate. The turbo sits in a much better position than both of the above, with the flange at the bottom of
