If you can afford it and wait I'd recommend ben in ware all day long he will do an amazing job he luvs mk3's and know exactly what to do to make your pride and joy sweet again

Hi did you have a website to find those rear floor sections as I've been looking everywhere and cannot find any any help would be grateful thanks I hope you get your car back on track as I'm having ben do mine

So due to having a 1 year old further progress has been slow and I can't completely leave the car alone or say that's it's finished as that just doesn't happen with me! I did manage to turn this;Into this though; Hopefully my little one will now make it to a couple of shows with me next year in his own car!emoji16]
So back to the main subject I managed to acquire a Votex body kit from Wayne as part of the deal with the Mystic blue VR6 I sold him a little while back, so I now plan to fit the full kit next year along with a set of Euro bumpers with a couple of little bits I want to do to them, here's a few pics; The kit will be finished in a textured black finish to give it a factoryish look Had to do a couple of repairs to the kit;
Also managed to get these from Christian Wolf over in Germany Super rare smoked ZKW long fogs . Also bought a Porsche Boxster front calliper set up to fit 312mm discs for a good price off of Ebay Decided to paint them black as I have quite a bit of red already! Then confuse people by letting them think I've fitted TT RS or S3 calipers to a Mk3 Also got the side skirts removed ready for the Votex ones to go on,
Not liking the non side skirt look!
And apart from pulling my interior apart to fit a DAB Alpine head unit and roof aerial that's about it for now!

I think it's the same with all of us if I'm honest some of us have certain trades where we can make extra money on the side that always helps I'm a gas man

Ben u can borrow it anytime and Pete I have had this since u sold the mk2 I can't seem to sell it or let it go

Look what just happened they feel so much better full interior front and back seats with door cards haven't fitted cards yet but the ones in there seem to blend in getting there slowly

Got my steering wheel in that Pete used to own always goes on any Vr I own and anniversary gear knob cd holder and radio feels a bit more homely now

Thanks it is s good car very solid was surprised my self it does require a bit of welding in 2 places just a small section behind drivers side rear wheel and one rear floor Bung has gone it did look mint but me being me power washed it cleaning the underneath and carpet felt wet and power wash had blown the grommet through so have a fist hole but for what I paid for it I'm not bothered just get Ben to weld it and reseal and it will be like new so not bad considering

I'm now the new owner of this beast happy to own a Vr again even though my wife cannot work out why I would leave my clk on the drive and put my Vr in the garage needs a small bit of bodywork doing to it which I hope Ben will do when he has time and plan my attack over the winter for next season to bring it out

It will be all good in the end I got rid of my supercharged syncro 2 yrs ago I luv my new car I have had since selling my Vr but missing a Vr so bad so going to buy another much to my wife's dismay once your hooked there's nothing else once it's fixed you will have that smile back on your face again

Had my Vr syncro for 8 yrs but sadly sold it biggest regret I made but got a clk 55 amg 415 bhp its a beast but still missing having a Vr so hopefully might be buying another Vr as need one in my life
