  1. Currently riding an RVF400, great bike, quick and very nimble. looking at gsxr of somekind next....
  2. I've only read good things about the schrick springs on vortex, and also autotech. Where did you get your schrick valve springs from Kev? I wouldn't say £120 is especially expensive either?
  3. What uprated valve springs do people go with for the vr6? Currently prepping a head ready to swap out when i replace the head gasket (currently weeping oil) and want to put uprated valve springs in. Any advice would be appreciated
  4. hahahahahahahaha i wouldnt trust anyone or anything from here :-* I stripped 4th gear twice, and 5th gear once. Fitted an 02m now, see how long that lasts
  5. Do they? :s I run a 3" on my 4wd vrt... it is tight but doesnt knock anywhere at all!
  6. You'll need to have the rear section exhaust modified if you go haldex stu, still, enough room for a 3" pipe on mine - also done by H&S
  7. Like Kev says about the boxes, i've stripped 4th and 5th gears on mine on separate occasions, would have throught the 35 would have been just as bad though! I run a GT3076R
  8. i have a gt3076r with .82 exhaust housing. i would go for a gt35r with a 1.06 exhuats housing
  9. Some nice parts you've been collecting, car will be a good one when its finished. What clutch are you going to use with the 02M?
  10. you wanna try squeezing a 3" pipe through a 4wd rear end!
  11. I'm sorry I wasn't aware of other people have had the same cracking issues - I hadn't heard of or read of any other unhappy customers in this country (I did say correct me if I'm wrong). However' date=' my experiences are of five other people (not including myself) who have vrt's and use the SPA manifold and two more still to be finished. The ones which are running don't have an issue, not to say there's a possibility they or I wont though. 1) The gasket alignment wasn't perfect to the head, but did seal and wasn't too much of a worry to me, I didn't have any problems with the t3 or wastegat
  12. just means you end up witha weak section in the middle hehe depends how much power you try putting through it pops! hehe!
  13. more equal length drive shafts too!
  14. i use a standard gearbox but with a modified diff, i've stripped 4th gear and 5th gear on two separate occasions. Looking for something stronger now!
  15. They had my car for a week. But certainly wasn't £1800!! Was that for a 6branch though as mine was for turbo
  16. you've got an early mk2 boss, but your right, the sleeve should come off the mk3 column and then you'll be able to fit the boss, but you'll need a spring and two washers (in place of that sleeve) off an early mk2 or you'll get a bit of play in column. Alternatively, get the right boss for the car.
  17. if your worried about fuel economy get a diesel
  18. is it obd1 or obd2? I'll be going to c2 for all my ecu needs, heard great stuff over on vortex about them, and a few very happy people over here too!
  19. I'm going to be using a GT3076R on my vr, should be a nice turbo hopefully....
