    the vr hounding mk2 is sadly deceased deemed unsafe (even by me =P) just a couple of pics to say goodbye to the beast! hehe im missing it already 1.3 power sucks a**!! second identity the last pod run!! hehe and the gutting(at least the rear screen was already out =P) bored =P the last day ;( ;( RiP =( not all is lost! a quick snipped of the future 'not so turdy turd' =P =P but i wont be pushing vr power and i still intend to push the vrs about =P hehe i will take more pics as the project gets under full steam!! powerplant stays secret =P look at the size differance!!!

    i know of a couple that run de-cat , 6 branch , stock middle section and no back box , sounds awesome!!! performace wise works fine , the car that has it does a low 14 1/4

    great sound!!! some great times that weekend . shame that polo lights up 3rd , and it has a diff!! if it got grip dave , you know it would of had you Edit : times as follows . that run in the vid iirc g40 pulled 15.4 (spinning over the place) Vr6 did a 15.1 on the daily tyres(nexun bobs your uncles lol) our bests were G40 - 15.2 VR6 - 14.2(on yoko A048s) and i got a 15.6 out of mine on runway ditchfinders lol , sticky rubber on the way soon!!!

    yet i preffer the mk1 & mk2 by a long shot , then only real reason id have a mk3 is to enjoy the vr engine without the effort of converting one into anouther car... but thats not to say i hate them in any way , they look stunning when done right , preffer the feel of the early chassis more 'rudimentry'{spelling?}/ pure driving experience .

    whats the best way to do it ?shall i bring along two shoe boxes one labled "FI" and the other "N/A" at the end of the day we all chuck our best slip into the respective box . road legal tyres only , street compound , probably the most fair way to go about it . .

    right anyone up for this at GTi Spring Fest . a light-hearted social competion held on the strip , open to all VeeDubs and non raod legal tyres are alowwed . we all hand our best timeslip in at the end of the day and see who the victor is. free bag of Midget Gems up for greabs from me for the winner lol unless someone want to push the prize stake even higher. let us know what you think , i can straight away think of at least 5 peeps who would deffinatley be up for this
