  1. Yours is a 2.9 kev It doesn't help setup, means its a bit trickier to map it correctly. Erm, thats about it engine wise, apart from 130k lol. It was 291 with a badly blowing zorst, so possibly a touch more, but i don't really want to get into a figure frenzy :@ So, baisically what i'm saying is put em in mate and if you do want to go sc in the future you won't have wasted your hard earned
  2. Or on here :-d Was rr'd at 291 mate As above really, doesn't help setup but seem to work really well.
  3. Idle's never great on obd1's esp charged, but mine doesn't stall. I've just gone from ZR2 with a dastek, to VF9 without dastek or MAF Cams in mine don't help either Both were mapped by Vince and the new map is a million times better than the old, but thats because of the new software available. Dunno what your asking tho :-(
  4. No not really, mine was about £130 and a couple of hours to fit, easy little job though. Used to see temps up to 125, now it can't get over 100 however much i try Won't help your fuel economy though Mind you, i can't get into double figures these days, around town i get about 4mpg sometimes !lol Don't worry, thats not coz of the cooler They say the vr is fine running up to 125 degrees, but anything much over will cause permanant dammage.
  5. Spot on mate, if you undo the two nuts and take the cup off, you'll be able to jack it up off of the strutt
  6. Left mine black, with a carbon bonnett too !lol
  7. Hello mate, i'm from Ipswich
  8. As 57ORM said, use boiling water, this will expand the rubber and will nearly fall on
  9. How do i remove the alternater? Trying to change my inlet manifold but need to remove the alternater to get to a couple of bolts. I've removed the two bolts from the side but it still won't budge????????? Please help.
  10. Youv'e just done the oposite to me!!!! I've had 2 cupra R's v good fun mate, i'm sure you will enjoy. My advise if you plan to tune it is give Jabba a call, been down other routes to my regret The only thing which let it down imo is the front wheel drive, other than that it's a steal for the money !lol Enjoy !lol
  11. Oh, thought your rear legs would be the same as the front. Looks like you will have to live with it pulling to the left, like me!!! Surely if you take it back to EA your not gonna gain anything, ie wasn't it mapped there last time??? Just can't understand why it would jump out of the rollers if the tracking is correct??? Is your suspension ok, bushes, arbs etc which might make it bounce???? Just ended up in Edwards, atleast there was some people in there!!! Had a laugh though, shame you had to split, but i don't blame ya!!!
  12. Mine pulls to the left mate, 2 reasons- rear camber and wheel set back I take it your rear camber is adjustable as its 4wd. Wheel set back could be the same as mine but neither would make it jump out of the rollers ?! Can't actually believe that anything other than tracking would create a prob on the rollers ?! ?! Happy New Year btw !lol
  13. All them pics and not one of mine, not even in the back ground Gutted (
  14. Lol, how very true !lol Used to have a filter straight onto that valve and made me feel ill every time i drove the car Mind you, that would be beter than spraing oil residue into the inlet :?
  15. Curve ball- Good suspension will make ya faster
  16. Very true mate, many of us have used them before (if you mean engine advantages) But its not very central for most.
  17. Thats certainly not what mine looks like, can't be a Mk3 VR6 one imo.
  18. Has anyone got a pic of one of those Raceland de-cat pipes??? I've got a really pants one and want to see if its much better.
  19. I've got the same problem Are they easy to change,ie do the bearings press out etc. Wheres best to get new bearings, is it a dealer only thing or gsf??? Thanks.
  20. We will find out what a ZR-2 will do with a smaller pulley soon enough Heres my 2p worth- Just because you can't get it 'off the shelf' doesn't mean it cant be done (and for cheaper in some cases !lol ) Some people are more than happy to spend
