  1. Good find, i just nearly lost time i was on that site so long!!
  2. cool, what are they, polished santa monica's or copies or something?
  3. don't know what the setting is mate, but camber setting should have been done after fitting. I'd get it checked out asap to save on tyres.
  4. its an easy job to change over, and for
  5. i would consider going for the C2 kit though as this seems to be the most complete kit ever availiable for the vr6, just contact them direct.
  6. Well my car is down there as we speak getting the stage 1 fitted. And apart from a long delay on the delivery, haven't had any problems with him. Maybe its just a rough patch or something. I'll see if i can speak to him and get some answers for you guys. Its not nice handing over that much money and not even getting any replies on email. its bad enough to think that my car is up there in his hands, and to be honest i do trust him with it. And i don't even let my mrs drive the car!!
  7. mine uses more than that as well. As if they have that mauch level as tolerance?!
  8. Hmmm, haven't got a clue mate! You might as well have asked that in chinese!! I'll ask for you though. ;-)
  9. From the 2.9 corrado engine i should be looking at about 270 - 280 with the de-cat and system. And from what i've heard the low rev range will be fine. Now if you are looking at changing your gearbox (which hopefully i will be doing in the not to disatant future) there is no other choice than the quaife 6 speed box. But it is incredably expensive. Over
  10. well, now i'm getting things sorted its a bit too close to the rr day. Or does anyone think we shoulod have a little meet before the rr day? If anyone wants to?
  11. yep heat gun(hairdrier) and then maybe a 1" blade to get it off. Doesn't sound very nice though.
  12. It is a vortech V1 charger and in the group buy i paid 2350 incl fitting. Fiited by Ultimatune. This includes a complete ecu change which is really just a plug in and play. There isn't need for a re-map afterwards. Although i might go to stealth for a check-up after the new exhaust system is fitted. Just to make sure i'm getting the best out of everything. C2 is the company which supply the charger kit, and for the money this is an excellent kit. ( Speak to ulimatune ) I'm not too sure on the fuel pump, not heard on any of the forums about getting this changed. Although i am having virtually
  13. there are more superchargers fitted to vr6's than turbo's. Mercedes and BMW use superchargers. Turbo's are much more commonly used on deisels. Although there are a lot of people that will disagree with this, the general census is taht superchargers are better to fit to the vr6 engine.
  14. Well i'm gettin a de-cat pipe and 2.5" bore system fitted after the V1 charger has been sorted. So there is no chance of keeping it quiet!
  15. I am just about to set off to Derby to ultimatune to get my stage 1 C2 charger fitted. Wish me luck and i'll let you know how it goes. Just.. can't ... hide.. my EXCITEMENT!!! !amazed
  16. I said to my mrs that i'd never get rid of my rado, but the first thing i said was "thats my next car". Nuff said
  17. I've got gmax on mine. Can't moan, feels just nice, stiff, but not too stiff. But i could do with it being 20 - 30mm lower though.
  18. only for the mk4, they never did do what is called a green/grey for the mk3. Shame, it would suit your car nice. And it doesn't look like a chavvy sunstrip either, the grey one is quite classy.
  19. i live only about 10 mins away from it and it spooky, believe me. its like a ghost town now. Looks like something from the terminator.
  20. i'd always wanted to go to the ring but after reading that warning, now i'm not so sure!!
