    Been to loads of shows this year with the Rado` mate but seems like not the ones you have been too!!! The Rallye will definately be going to shows next year!! it came to the UK from Germany in 1997 and its been hidden in 2 previous mature owners garages ever since!! its time warp stuff will get some pics up when its here

    Well since selling my VR at the beginning of the year and using the G60 Corrado i replaced it with a lot of the time I realised i should never have sold my Rallye golf............................ So i Just bought another one!!!!!! :-p I am selling/sold my sportline mk1 cabrio and replacing it with a Tornado red 71k Rallye in original condition!!!!!! Picking it up on Tuesday......I cant wait.............2 G60`s on my drive, which might seem a bit greedy but I love em and they are both totally different animals to drive (h) even though the power plant is simmilar

    alright mate, I put the plate on it, it was originally H373 YYW, I saw this plate for sale for £450 and ending up getting it for £270 inc the £80 tranfer fee etc so it was cheap really Just need to get it chipped, schrick cam and 68mm pulley for the charger and it should be about 220bhp the aero dynamics really help with straight line speed, well upto 70 mph anyway

    well i went from a G60 Rallye to the VR6 and then back to a G60 I dont find it too much differetn to be honest mate, the VR has a bit different power delivery and the noise is nice, but the G60 is still pretty quick for a 4 cylinder and you get charger noise too! the Corrado even when it was standard handles far better than any of the other vw`s i have had, now its on KW V1 coilovers its like a roller skate! totally flat through the bends or corners, i would imagine a VR Corrado is an awesome piece of kit with a few mods

    Yeah guys must get along to a meet or show with ya all, vr6nc yep that is one sweet BBS wheel, and hey tony! that car is like triggers broom now!!! you must get to Brands this month Ollie im juuuuuuuuuuuust about coping without the VR, since getting the G60 sometimes i am able to afford to feed my family each week too

    Hi pat, yeah still got the mk1 too, i have put it back tottally standard, original wheels etc, needs a new centre exhaust pipe soon too! the one thats been on since 1992 is a bit worn in places

    cheers chaps, Yeah Nige i made soem more friends and influenced people at climate camp! i was the one who took the childrens crayons!!, seriously!! they were permanent markers though not crayons! I think i saw you mike at E38 wandering around, didnt get a chance to say high though, saw Blondie briefly and Warren, Sunday was such a wash out out!! got there at 1030.....left at 1330

    Hi gang...............after another sebatical from VR6OC for various reasons...........Thought i would catch up with you all.........Been on a few other forums, no names mentioned but THIS is the best forum out there for being open and friendly I still got my G60 and i believe Matt still has my Highline VR? anyone seen it? hope he is looking after it!!!! Look forward to catching up with you guys, and finding out WTF all this talk of squeezy cheese is and find out how many time tony`s cab has broken down No VR inside Brap Brap

    Yeah pat, i am possitive the "revolutionary" types among them will be out to cause bother, an oportunity to get some "lawrence of arabia" notches carved on my baton i will try and find out as much as i can about those "women" Ben, and find out if that armpit hair goes all the way down to their bollox

    Cheers chaps, VR Corrados are ace Ben im hopeing to get to a few shows Gav, im coming to the VR6OC meet at Billing and defo E38, and hopefully a few in between if work allows, only trouble is most of July & August all leave requests are being refused as the "tree huggers" are due to mass protest at the proposed new coal fired power station near me, so i will be stood in the burning heat in full riot gear having hairy soap dodger men in dayglo pyjamas and women of questionable status :-| swearing at me from dawn till dusk!

    few updated pics of my Rado got some Bahn Brenner bits for the engine, RSR charger outlet and metal charge cooler pipework with silicon hoses to prevent any boost loss from the stage 4 charger still not lowered it yet but after my hols i will be getting a KW V1 kit for it I still miss the VR sound a bit, but this is still an awesome sounding car

    as a general rule.just red I is a 110 red D & I is a 130 and all red TDI is a 150 or 180 but as said dealers dont always do this right, my bro just bought a mettalic beige (gold) 150 Bora Highline TDI and it has wood trim and all that, you can also tell from the engine bay without the code as the 150 and 180 have huge turbo intercooler pipes that run around the back of the block the less powerfull ones dont

    What offset are D90`s? if they are like most porsche wheels and around et 60 then with a 20 or 25 mm spacer they should be ok as long as its not too low? i had 8j RH ZW1s on my old VR and had that pretty low on coilovers and it only touched very slightly on huge bumps or really bad roads

    I had a jetex on my VR, and have one on my corrado too, very good systems and sound nice virtually silent on tick over just a nice burble and even at speed there is no dronning in the car etc, sounds mean and perposefull when you open the taps up though

    Number plates again!! right guys this is the definitive guide! Any car registered after 1973 has to wear a reflective white plate on the front and a yellow on the rear, pre 73 black and silver were standard, later cars can wear pre 73 reg but the plate has to conform regulations regarding to the age of the car!!! Letters and Numbers MUST be of the Charles Wright type face, plates/cars made before 2001 can display the earlier larger type letters and numbers 79mm height and 57mm width (the later plates on **51 *** etc cars have the same font but it was reduced in size to 50mm to allow room for

    Alright Ben, well i would have kept the rims, but they would have only fitted the G60 using adaptors, and i didnt want to do that, and not only that they paid fo a LOT of goodied for the G60
