    i've noticed the price of a mk3 golf vr6 has dropped like a fecking stone,you can get them for under £1500 some ever under a grang wtf?? i thought golfs held their value pretty well? was one of the reasons a bought one ( 5 years ago for 4 grand ).is this all down to this "credit crunch" or all this trendy eco-friendly nonsence,or is the mk3 vr6 just viewed as a crap old shed now or what?? was gonna spend some cash on tunning mine up a bit but i don't know anymore :-( two of my mate have subarus by the way and they're trying to convert me to the "dark side" and tell me to sell my golf before

    just got my car back after getting a full respray and i've noticed that the driver's side door does not sit flush with the rear quarter panel,no matter how hard i slam the door it still sticks out about 5mm. is this easy to sort? cheers

    we could all chip in and buy a plot of land and plant loads of trees on it then see if the goverment will do a deal with us. i.e. no road tax or free petrol

    just a thought,oil prices skyrocketing/oil running out and the government hell bent on shafting anyone that's into cars.will motorspot die out? coz lets face it part of the fun is the noise performace petrol engined cars make,could you honestly imagine an electric powerd rally car?? :S |-)

    hmm,i've got a set of 268's which i was planning on fitting when i get my chains done to work along side the vsr manni,now after reading how good these 263s are ment to be what would be best? 268s + vsr or 263s + vsr? sorry if this is a bit of a hijack but i didn't see any sense in starting a new thread on cams. cheers

    a mate of mine who also has a golf vr6 has bad rust on his rear arches,he took it to a bodyshop for a quote and the guy said if they sort it the rust will eventualy return.told him to just sell the car.wtf?? surely not.can't they treat the metal with something before painting it to avoid this? i've booked mine in for a full respray at a differant bodyshop and one of my sills is a bit rusty although not rotten right through,i'm hoping it won't rear it's ugly head ever again *-) what are your thoughts on this?
