    i like how there's a mesh grille intake type thing near the rear wheel to suggest it's maybe a mid-engined super car! the guy can't be any older than 18.

    just get yourself a big bore throttle body(obd1 only) pm kevhaywire on here and he'll put u onto the guy that sells 'em,then get the car remapped unless your planning other mods 1st

    do all OBD1s 2.8 & 2.9 have a 4 bar and OBD2s have a 3 bar? does upgrading it do anything for performance? the reason i'm asking is some guy that owns a tuning garage tells me if i upgrade my FPR i'll get 8bhp,personally i think he's talking crap and just wants to screw some cash out of me,mine is OBD1 anyway. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

    i'm going to get a breather filter to stop hot fumes and gunk getting into my throttle body,am i right in thinking it's an 18mm one i need? theres a few on the bay,will a cheep non branded one do or should i ge a 15 quid k&n one? how often and how to you clean then? cheers

    i had to ditch mine in order to fit my vsr manifold,car runs fine,hey i also noticed a grey blank socket but there's plug with wires for it,what's the point of this??

    just a daft idea but how about getting in touch with top gear as a club and see if clarkson will test out one of the properly tuned up golfs on here (i.e supercharged,quaif diff,coilovers) to see if he still reckons it's a "soggy blamonge" that "grandad" would drive?? lol.

    oh daley,you're right about the green bottle,it holds the vacume which operates the flap in the vsr,there's a wee solenoid with `pierburg` stamped on it right next to the bottle
