    i have this annoying prob with my car, sometimes this is what it does (cold or warm start) turn the ignition engine ticks over and then its like it cant hold its tuning, it switches off, very similar to an active immobiliser, if i keep trying then leave it for a bit then it will switch on as if nothing was wrong, then during the rest of the day the car will start or might not again depending on its mood. i have tried changing the fuel pump relay in the fuse box (which i must admit makes the car run much more smoothly without back pressure feeling) Could it be the spark plugs???? cheers

    Hey guys, i have recently begun to have problems when cold/warm starting my car. the engine ticks over just about and the revs go shooting down and the car switches off, almost like when an immoboliser is in action, after a few attempts i can start the car keeping it revved up or else it will switch off again, once revved for a few seconds the car will then be fine. any ideas as to what she is trying to tell me??? cheers :?

    hi, being new to the vr6 scene, i just wanted to ask a few questions, all answers would be appreciated. thanks what is the average oil temp supposed to be on the mfa??? as mine reaches 100 and a bit more sometimes, how many miles do you guys get out of £10 petrol??? i am currently getting 50-55 miles. does anyone somtimes have a problem of the indicators and rear fog light coming on when the brake is pressed??? cheers guys - much appreciated,

    i noticed the other day that the water in the coolant tank was slightly bubbling making gargling noises, just to ask if this is normal or is there something to worry about here??? cheers

    thanks kev, i will see to it asap, did you exerience a similar problem?? the last thing i want to do is change things and waste money, i can just about keep up with the petrol lol. cheers

    i just bought my first vr6, 1995 - nreg, totally standard, i noticed a problem with the speedo needle, when i drive the needle tends to go looney as in it reaches over 150mph even tho i am only doing about 50mph and then at times it will scoop all the way down to 0-mph, i do not understand what the car is trying to tell me, but it is getting annoying as i cannot go through a speed camera without risking the speed i am doing, only sometimes does the needle show the correct speed. any ideas??? cheers
