  1. Nice Justin.....i'm gonna put the venoms back on soon &|
  2. I wish I had the guts to take my engine apart....lol
  3. Lookin sweet dude...the made a good job of the bonrath air intakes
  4. That certainly is my beast ed...cheers fella I'm no expert when it comes to offsets etc but 17x7 or 7.5" will go on pretty easily I think....I'm sure some of the other peeps on here will know better though mate.
  5. 18's always cause problems on mk3's I think mate. Obviously spacers will bring the wheels away from the shocks, but then they will move closer to the arches. I'm pretty sure to get them to fit properly you will have to get the arches sorted. I had to get my arches rolled and pulled to fit 17x8.5" wheels on mine.....It is lowered quite alot though and I may not have had so many problems if it was raised up abit on the coilovers....but that would have been sacrilege
  6. I can do you a copy if you want mate, just reimburse me the cost of a disc and postage and I'll send it over. PM me your addy and i'll do it for you.
  7. effin gorgeous Justin. It looks so mean in that first one......top class
  8. you have a pm winging its way to you now mate.
  9. lol....well spotted. I had both sides sprayed completely. There had been some work done (badly) before I owned the car so I needed to get that sorted as well, plus I had the sills redone at the front where the car had been jacked up and it had all bent over and rotted away, so there was quite a lot of work done. All four arches had rust cut out and plates welded in as well. Quality of the work I would say was very good....it certainly looks alot better then it did before, and I am very happy with the results.
  10. No probs fella. How far have they been pulled......good question.....the answer being I have no idea. I left it with the body shop and they did what they felt necessary.....I did ask them to keep the flat to keep it looking standard.
  11. Its the near/passenger side Rich, no rubbing anywhere else. That is the damper that has been leaking, need to send it off and get it fixed, just a pain in the arse really.
  12. They are 17's Jonno. Immense scrubbing before I got the arches done.....there was no way I was gonna raise the car though...lol
  13. lol....oh the venoms...soon to be put back on for the winter i'm afraid....may have to invest in a new set of winter wheels for next year. The CR7's are 8.5" all round Warren. Get a small amount of rubbing on one of the rears, but I that is the one with the leaking damper so the suspension may not be working as well. Not a single bit of scrubbing elsewhere since i've had the arches done though.
  14. Cheers guys. Yes Rich, had the sides done completely, arches rolled and pulled and all rust noew gone. Still need to get the front end sorted though....sometime next year for that though.
  15. nice.....both yours and the mk4 were looking sweet, couldn't keep my eyes off my rear view mirror
  16. lol....wondered why you were crawling along....I tried going slowly but you were going even slower!!! In the end I thought fook it and put me foot down
  17. I took a couple yesterday so thought I'd share them with you
  18. There are plenty of muppets on the road. I had a moan at someone this morning.....It amazes me how uncourteous and just plain unaware some people are. In my little village there are many roads where you have to wait sometimes because the roads are too thin. I pulled round a corner this morning and see a van reversing into a drive covering most of the road. I can see a post office van ahead waiting already to come towards me, the road was down to one lane due to parked cars and it was my right of way, but he was waiting first so I let him through when it was clear. In the mean time another car
  19. Nice one peeps, lots of places to try then
  20. I had a play with one off a roundabout once, we were both pretty evenly matched tbh...they guy gave a thumbs up when he chickened out and I went past him.
