    just hsd oil seals done but will othe pipes might go for a samco kit while its empty

    i know there is already a thred for this but cant find it if i takeit off which pipe do i plug there is two pipes a clear one and a black one which one should be blocked ?? thanks for looking

    that sounds about right just took it off had to guess how to do it but it is an easy job thanks for reply is there anything els worth doing while i got front end off?

    its not the thermostat housing def the radand dont fancy bodgeing it if it needs doing it has to be donr right cutting corners always cost more money in long run i seem to have lernt the hard way! can any body give me a rough guide on how to change it?

    as above i have been getting white gunk over engine for a couple a week now removed grill to day there is a little leek in the rad can these be repaired or do i need to replace it. Is this an easy to do my self as i want to do it before it gose to be painted and could any body tell me how to do it any advice would be greatly appreciated thanksfor looking lee

    i am booked for a spray job next month and want to fit post facelift wings (96 on) will theasr fit on a93 car and how hard are they to fit can i do this myself. It looks like they bolt on and off thanks for looking lee. also can wings be bought with vents in the already? [ Edited ]

    i got done this way last year wish i had tryed to overturn it now i no put the plod has to see your wheels go over the line as it turns red so if they not got a clear veiw then fight it mine was super cop cause he saw through 2 cars and loads of railings he said he new i went through cause his light changed but getting him to admit he said that in court was an none starter so they need a clear veiw of the line!!     no they have little plastic studs as the tops of them were at the side of car quiet easy to take off as i removed the other side thats y i am after facelift ones which are a little longer the paint under the arc is good so easyer to just change it as later ones look cleaner

    i am going to tatton park tomorrow my car is on club stand but a problem as arisen when i came out of work today somebody has took my rear wheel arch moulding so as any body got side moulding off a face lift model for sale i can get them painted today so anybody round northwest will do. dont want to miss tomorrow

    did those wheels go stright on or did you need spacers? i bought a set from monty's but they rubbed on brakes wish i had kept them now look cool

    i might sound daft but on cars ac could a pipe of some sort not be plumed in to the ac and plumed to front of car that way youwould have the ac blowing very cold air to you filter when you wanted it as it could be turned off?

    i had same prob there is a purpus tool that you can get for this only vw in blackburn has one they come in differant sizes its like a socket but has spiral edges going the oppisate way to the thred on nut just hit it on with a hammer then the sharp spiral edges lock in when you try to undo it took 30 sec to get it offhope you can understand what i meenif you want to know what it is called his number is in back of pvw good luck

    just been to see the guy he says i can have the lot oil sump all pipe work,belts and chip its just how much to offer him and will the chip plug stright in or will it need reprograming ?

    i am seeing him tomorrow will ask if it is one or two i have got vgi and 268 cams with chip will it work ok with these

    hi all bit of advice needed i have been offered a vf charger second hand its still on the car at moment so can been seen running it has done 1k with paper work to proove. he says make him an offer so what would be a reasonable price for this charger with the chip? also are these chargers any good thanks for looking lee

    y not fit the chip to a car put it on the rollers program it take it off ship it and fit it at other end?

    speaking of old school house while in the loft other day found a bag full of tapes from clubs in early 90s from wen i was 16 made some good listening and laughs still got the goose bumps from a few tunes! old mowtown andfunk is my thing at the min tho

    thanks alot for that nick. is there any body in northwest with vag-com that could let me use it as i dont want to move the car out of garage would pay any petrol cost to anybody who has got it ?will try to order am lead tonight but will take a while to come from states
