    lol, cant belive sumbody acctualy paid £330 notes for a used exhaust. I do owe you matey u saved me from making a big f*uk up!! The wheels are BBS montreal ll , check out e-bay theres a fit pair on a V5. Look Sweeeeeet!

    nah dont worry mate! The thing is ive got standard BBS's on the car and got a set of 16's off a new GTI-T. Just wanted to know what the ofset maybe(vw were bloody useless and didnt av a clue) , so now i can measure the distance like you said and find out. Just did'nt want to fork out money for tyres and find that the wheels dont fit or the offset may cause a problem!

    yeah makes sense, but im gona get confusing now! how would i know the offset on a set of alloys with no tyres on em? would i just halve the distance on the alloys and compair to the ones on the car with tyres? does that make sense?!

    suppose beta get the tape out then mate! But what about the tracking tho, will this be afected?

    What does the offset mean? can u alter it by means of tracking, ie setting camber etc? or is it a non changeble thing, like the way the wheel is shaped or moulded?

    Yeah im due for an upgrade to, my discs are seriously pitted. Not sure what to get e.g Black Diamond, Tarox etc . Any ideas on prices and places to buy from ?

    IMO matey id get em done at your house that way u know that some little fecker is'nt raging the ass off your pride and joy at a garage somewhere! I suppose thats not abad price tho 4 all 4 wheels, that 25 quid that iwas quoted was trade price.By the way Nice motor gez, u coming to the rr day?

    Nah mate never used Pristine wheels b4. Theres a good company within the london area tho called Spit n Polish . I would rate em, they do a pucker job! think they roughly charge bout 25 quid a wheel which includes sand blasting wheels, re-laqure,paint,then a top coat. Spot on i thought!

    Same boat mate ive got a supersrint on order from southampton wheels 02380 67972 . Have heard good tings bout em and there not to badly priced either , i payed £365 for complete system inc a de-cat pipe. 8o)

    Its pretty much all the time but definatly more when its cold and when u start her thats the worst. U say it could be the lifters how long do u rekon they take to change? and how much $$ it gona cost me?

    To be honest mate not sure if ur gonna need spacers, or if the offset of the audi wheels is different. As 4 the seats maybe a bit of grief as they have airbags Imo that is

    Depends matey , Do u have standard suspension? I was asking this question not so long back and was told that i could have 16's but i would have to have 215/45/16 so they dont rub when cornering. IMO i would stick the 17's on they look rude! 8o)

    Hi , were having bit of a rough time at the moment. Shes started to make kinda tapity sound . Does any one else have this problem? Tried givin her some slick 50 bout 1500 miles ago but shes still not happy. Made sure oil level is ok, what else can i do? Thanks, Ben :|

    so can i fit any size profile? was more worried bout the width tho mate, turning n cornering maybe a problem? and obvioulsy the price aswell!!

    yes its one of those stupid questions again! got me paws on a set of 16's gona fit this wkend, just wanted to know if 205/55/16's will go sraight on or will they rub??
