  1. I do quite well of ebay really. It pays for most of my "car" things. I sell a bucketload of CDs on there (hundreds a month),plus other bits and bobs. Sold a couple of Sciroccos and a Corrado on there too, which went for more than I expected/booked at.
  2. Currently got Pet Shop Boys - Forever in Love (from the very rare Relentless album) on at the moment, but favourites include Beth Orton (I run www.beth-orton.co.uk if anybody's interested in her), Heather Nova, Vangelis, William Orbit, Tori Amos, Skunk Anansie, Donna Summer (?), etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc............... Used to be a DJ.... say no more!
  3. Similar to Patricks, I could smell petrol after my biggest ballsup. This was in my old Series III Land Rover where the fuel tank is beneath the driver's seat. I didn't know this and proceeded to drill a hole there to mount some speakers there (it seemed a good idea at the time). It was only a few days later when I actually filled the tank to the brim that I realised I had drilled through the top of the fuel tank and my feet were awash with petrol about half a mile down the road.... (Good job I don't smoke!)
  4. Oh bugger it! The numbers keep changing - Well anyway, hope you like some of them, please vote as you see fit!
  5. Thanks to Pete for adding all my pics to the Gallery. Ones I'm most proud of are numbers: Number 94, When it's framed up correctly Number 140 Number 144 and finally Number 154 Hope you all like them. PS if anybody wants any prints of any, please email me at jbromley@enterprise.net or PM me. P.S. Pete, can you stop changing the numbers... ;-) [ Edited ] [ Edited ]
  6. Okay peeps, gonna put the pics on the web for you all to see. I'm only putting the web-quality photos up though, as some of the files are 8 or 9 mb (!) If anybody wants to give me any (constructive) criticism please do. I apologise for some of the pics as I was getting used to the camera, and some of the inside ones didn't quite work out. Anyway, the click on this link and see what you think... Stealth Rolling Road Day pics

  8. Apart from the G40 you mean, yes I think somebody managed to get 142, though Vince couldn't figure out why, and I think his Diagnostics port was knackered too...
  9. Hi guys (and Gals, there were at least two Girly VR6 owners there today, plus my Mrs has a half share in one ;-) Just saying I got some pretty good piccies from the day (I was the one crawling all over with my camera and tripod.) I'm putting them all together, and will put together a linked CD when I get the chance, plus if any of the photos you think are good enough, I can get them printed in various poster sizes too. More details to follow....
  10. There's a Scottish RR Day for the Corrado Club soon, not exactly certain when, but have a look at the Corrado Club web-site www.corradoclub.co.uk
  11. My standard Vento VR6 (K-Reg) pulled up 187bhp at Stealth three months ago. It's done 138k miles and is sub-standard as the exhaust is just plain crap!
  12. C'mon get cleaning, I've got the camera at the ready...
  13. Your problem is definitely that the amp is drawing toooo much power. You could also check the state of your battery, as this might be a problem. But I think at the end of the day you will have to put in a cap or turn down the "boost" on the amp.
