    does anyone know how i go about finding which wires correspond to side lights so i can attach the halo part of light , which runs off the side/park light and do i also connect black wire to back of light negative electrode and red wire to side light wire???????? plz help im baffled.

    can ayone tell me which colur wire responds to side lights on vr6 im fitting angel eyes and have to cut side light wire to join up the angel eye any help much appreciated

    check ecu relay and cam pos sensor, thats what it sounds like to me.

    i have the same sort of problem m8. mine doesnt take that long to get started though all i have to do is put a little gas on and it wont die,i was thinking it may be along the lines of warm fuel pressure regulator sometihg like that. [ Edited Sat Dec 06 2003, 06:27PM ]

    vw can sometimes be annoyingly dumb and expensive,thats why i use an independant garage.glad u got it sorted

    the cam pos sensor was £35 +vat the guy who ran diagnostic got it for me i dont no where from but i can find out 2 morrow

    same thing happened to my car, hall sender on a distributorless engine turned out to be cam pos sensor

    sounds just what i need, is 185 for discs an pads .i was thinking of EBC myself, heard good things about them cheers phat.

    is the noise worse in reverse,is it a ticking or whirring because whirring would point towards bearings, ticking if it is coming from gearbox could be chipped, tooth fragment in box, u could change oil,see if it goes away [ Edited Sun Oct 26 2003, 07:02AM ]
