£75 an hour is fine if you drive a 50k car! 8) not a 3-5k 10 year old one! :( why dont dealers adjust the price according to age/difficulty of the job?

when i worked a vw it was £50 an hour, a £5 cheaper than the volvo dealer i worked for prior to that!

all dealers have got people by the gonads with new cars due to the warrantys and tech stuff on the cars.

I suppose they quote hoping you wont have it done! and if you do? whatever technician gets it will moan like fuck! i can hear it now.... shitty old golf... why do i get the shit jobs.... give it to the apprentice....etc etc :P
