Ferrari VR6 0
lol, it is amazing but no suprise mate...
antera309 3
It's the wiring and the mechanical linkage that fails more often than the motor itself. You can pick up a complete linkage with motor attached fairly cheaply from a breakers and it's not too difficult to fit.
richievr 1
Just been quoted £313 incl. parts VAT and fitting to put in a new passenger front window motor by my local VW dealer. Eat this 2
i got a cpmlete window mech for £30 from a scrap yard and did it myself no way on earth id pay a dealer to do it
purple highline monster 0
£75 an hour is fine if you drive a 50k car! 8) not a 3-5k 10 year old one! why dont dealers adjust the price according to age/difficulty of the job?when i worked a vw it was £50 an hour, a £5 cheaper than the volvo dealer i worked for prior to that! all dealers have got people by the gonads with new cars due to the warrantys and tech stuff on the cars. I suppose they quote hoping you wont have it done! and if you do? whatever technician gets it will moan like fuck! i can hear it now.... shitty old golf... why do i get the shit jobs.... give it to the apprentice....etc etc

TVR6 0
Sorry to hijack this thread guys but my driver side often closes half way then opens again, it does this continuously. I understand that this is a faulty regulator. Is this true? How much to replace/repair?
