worlds going mad

Recommended Posts

just looking through scoobynet and found a bunch of threads about car jacking, with some poor guy being stabbed with a screwdriver.

1 of the threads suggested that thieves were targeting cars from forums or meets and tailing people from shows.

getting bloody dangerous to have a nice car now, the thieving bleeders are burgling the houses to get the keys to beat the alarms and immobilisers, think maybe we need to be a bit more circumspect on posting mods like chargers etc.

they would be big money to break now.

the general thread was that the tracker was useless and that the thieves hide the car for a few hours to see if its found and then come back, bloody scary imho

take more interest in who is behind you people , its never occured to me tbh but think i may be taking more care in the future.

trouble with keeping obvious looking weapons in the car, if you get pulled for driving a modded car by the police they frown on it big style! i reccomend keeping summat thats used in the place where you work and can be passed off as an item u use for work, if y'all know what i mean!

A good tip I heard and still use is 'Tyres and Tarmac'. Basically in stationary traffic if you can see the rear tyres of the car in front touching the tarmac, you'll have enough room to full lock and get round them in an emergency - like some numpty trying to jack your car or emergency vehilce needing to get past.
